Although it was only a 2.8 the epicenter was only about 10k down the road towards Carboneras, everything seems ok at the moment !

P.S. Very quiet on the Zef and Scalextric front - hope all is well with him and all others 'down south' with the flooding. Doesn't look good for many I'm afraid. |

weather nothing abnormal for us coastal dwellers.
Arthur awoke at 4am . .. nodding off now. I'd built a racing bike by 8am . . . run a lap of town with him cycling by 9 . . . . filet de boeuf en croute, home made, for luncheon. Turkeys for Turkeys. Happy Chrimbles all. |

I don't wish to sound ungrateful but ffs, my brother gave me a bottle of peaches. Must be karma for me getting him a train book with ultra small print and him having a wonky eye and probably not able to read it.

Motorsport theme here at Midgetman Mansions...I was given bits I needed to fulfil my task as MiniMM's kart race engineer
Then off to the sis-in-law where I chomped my way through enough roasties that I'm never going to fail a weight limit again. Currently relaxing with a nice cuppa tea before retiring to bed. Oh the rock and roll lifestyle! For nearly a week now I've done bu**** all - Merry Christmas everybody, once a year this is just brilliant |

Well, my Christmas centred around a mid-day 2hr walk on the beach at Holkham. With doggos (not mine, sadly) of course, along with hundreds of like-minded Xmas goers. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, the sea was calm, and it was a complete pleasure. Then back to big Sis for salmon en croute, followed by bit of TV- Doctor Who mainly!
That's it for Christmas celebration. Back in the workshop this morn- Spa 6 is only 9 months away, and car almost ready for testing..... Sad to see all the flood and storm damage on news, but good to see some being interviewed who adjusted to the circumstances and still enjoyed the day. True Brits! And well done all the emergency services and power company employees for doing their best to help. |

I know of a few people in the sticks who've lost power, and resorted to BBQ's, they'll probably end up with a better lunch!
got a new EN19 rope seal (fia legal) crankshaft for myself for Christmas I will start stripping the shell for restoration tomorrow . . . a block to prep and the rest of the engines waiting. . . . all the running gear was as new when the car got pranged, so Spa in May is a potential target, 72nd meeting probably unrealistic, although it may be possible as a test session. |

Had a Christmas "do" at a local Spanish restaurant and for us came back early (eightish) and watched a couple of videos, "A Christmas Tale" and "The Plank" (for all the old 60s cars)
At the moment sitting in bed looking at the blue sky and the sea, Mmm I wonder how my bed got on the beach ? |

If I mention the name 'Millicent Bystander' someone may work out which film I have been watching...... Got to workshop this morning without roll cab and toolbox keys, so not much done. Dug out my late Dads Halfords box and found a few spanners that fitted, so all not lost! Reminded me of apriliadrivers excellent story. So who's at the sales then? |
