My Estonian is far from perfect... or even from good, but I understood he doesn't have pay for either ThreeBond or Hitech. Actually it was told earlier that he even gets some salary from ThreeBond. I think his contract with ThreeBond doesn't allow him to skip any All-Japan F3 rounds so plans won't change. Apparently there's also some kind of option to get a seat to F-Nippon in 2008 so I'm sure he won't dissapoint the Japanese...

As far as I know he is not a share holder in Hitech but it does look like he has a 2 year contract to drive for the team. His family is very wealthy so it would not rule out them paying for a fast driver to help out on development and data. Hitech didnt get much good data last season from their drivers...

A bit out of topic: I noticed that, this year, MST reports don't mention the chassis; can anyone tell me whether there were any Lolas running at Pembrey?

They're all Dallaras except the two Mygales (numbers 14 and 15) in the Championship Class and the two Fluid Lolas (numbers 32 and 33) in the National Class.

I think they're trying to, but it certainly hasn't happened yet.

The second Double R National Class car should be out at Silverstone with Albert Costa (a protégé of Pedro de la Rosa), and ADR should be running their National Class car, too.

That would be 29 cars. Amazing.

From what I've heard, Cheng was offered a drive at Ultimate in the Mygale, but turned it down. We'll know for sure on Wednesday when Ultimate have their official launch.

Maro Engel was driving the wheels off the car at Pembrey, but whether he wants to do that and still not be at the front, I don't know. I guess it depends what else is available and how much he thinks is still to come from the car. I don't there was much left to come from him!
