So we have a Toyota that crashed into an LMP2, a Porsche that has no hybrid power, and an Audi with a broken floor - after 60 minutes of racing.
Looks promising. |

But no need to get mad, even though what I posted is a fact(including it being the biggest headline of motorsports today), it was meant to be a joke PS: Is Audi just slow or something happened to them in the race? |

LMP1 certainly looking frail at the moment.
It makes you questions the call for 2 cars from any of the teams. The odds just dwindle away as soon as 1 car hits trouble. Now given all 3 teams have 2 cars in the race, you wonder if an LMP1 Privateer will make the podium or win it overall at Le Mans... |

Both. The #7 has an issue with its floor but the R18s are clearly the slowest of the factory cars.
I don't think those calls were made by any of the higher-ups within the teams, because they surely would want a third car if the budget was there. But for reasons that have been discussed at length on here, no factory does this year. If reliability does play a bigger-than-usual part at LM this year then you can be sure that they will all be lobbying hard for that extra cash. |

Should 3-4 of them drop out, the others can allow to scale back and take less risk. Also, with the speed advantage over the privateers, the works cars can even sustain at least one lengthy repair during the race and still end up ahead of Rebellion. |

I think Buemi was saying he was struggling in traffic. Okay older tyres won't help with that.
Awesome battle right now! PUNCTURE for Timo!!! |

See Kazuki? That's how you get a car back in double quick time without wrecking the bodywork.

Where are the posters who predicted a boring Porsche runaway just this morning?

Meanwhile, the #7 is solidly running 3rd, despite having a broken floor
