would be great if the utes were actually going to be that low.
The height is the biggest let down in my opinion |

Not a lot of body roll in that video.. they were on road tyres so makes sense that the prototype wasn't being flogged... 32 of these things belting the crap out of each other will still be fun to watch, diesel or petrol or LPG... |

I guess it will be fun just for the absurdity of it all. Seems like they failed to initiate any collaboration with the existing wealth of technical knowledge of the long-running Thai SuperPickUp series. |

I don't have the flash player installed any more. Flash has been dead for nearly 2 years now. Everyone else can do HTML5 video. Why are these guys stuck in the dark ages? |

If they have good fields of them and the racing is good, those things will probably be less of an issue. |

I imagine the subframe under the rear to commonise the rear axle & suspension without chopping up the chassis itself could be the reason the SuperUtes sit so high..

Now that's a high roll centre if I've ever seen one.

Quite underwhelming, looked like he was going up the road to get some lunch.
The rhetoric was amazing, pretty poorly put together propaganda. There is nothing super about these. |

I drive a 4WD of the Holden variety, it's a workhorse, not a race car. If I want to drive something interesting with a little bit of performance, I use my FPV enhanced XR8 ute. I have no desire whatsoever to watch these things.
It looks like a double decker bus and seems to handle like one. |

You keep a Holden and a Ford at the same address? Surely this can't be allowed. |

Unfortunately yes, the two Fords and the Subaru are running like clockwork where the Holden is in the shed waiting for a new injection pump (Bloody Diesels)

The article on the Holden race ute on Caradvice mentioned a race weight of 1800kg which will surely make racing safely a challenge, a lot of momentum involved. Also that engines will be limited to about 350hp/254kW.

It'll produce some fun racing I'm sure and I'd be surprised if less people watched it than the outgoing series.
I reckon there's going to be some shunts due to the protruding wheels on these things though. |

i am sure these things will have a following, and I understand the drive behind manufacturers wanting to be able to race something that sells well and they make good profit on.
For me though I am just not sure they are going to be as well liked as the V8Utes. They sounded great, and were taily and awesome. I remember watching it with my mate in Texas and he thought they were absolutely fantastic and subsequently went on to watch the V8 race at Bathurst. Not sure the new utes are gonna do that. But the times are a changin'. |

Further, are you saying that people who disagree and are not interested are ignorant ??? What do you base this assumption of ignorance on. Please qualify your statement. |
