It's much better placement than Toll especially or Mobil/HSV with their logos squished onto the front and side of the car alongside the overpowering graphics IMO.

Had a feeling it was today. And Craig Lowndes has said he is in Sydney today on Twitter.

SBR Irwin Tools:

SBR SP Tools:

JRR Wilson Security:

i have to say that Irwin car is woeful the worst livery so far this year. SP car is a decent evolution on last year and Wilson looks good with a matching livery to the SP car.

I actually dont mind the simpleness of the IRWIN car, at least the sponsor is getting major value as there is little to detract from who is tipping in the major bucks...not like a dogs brekkie that some of the others morph into.

Notice SBR have picked up the Fuchs sponsorship from Tasman and the Wilson Security and Doric sponsorship has come to the James Rosenberg car with Paul Cruikshank.

Fuchs will appear with 3 teams offhand.

The Doric appearance was because they loaned Paul the money to buy the licences. One suspects he is still in debt.

all V8 Supercar liveries pretty much look the same to me *shrugs* over 90% of them have the same sharp lines on the front of them.. that follows up along the bonnet. the sponsors logo angled down on the side of them (with more sharp added) is also over done. it's the same old same old.

did all the designers go to the same design school or something?

I think the most interesting piece of the puzzle is the development series car for Mr McLaughlin... sponsored by their 2009 customer car backer in Fujitsu

Car designs appear an evolution of the 2009 variants... very good that there is additional branding aboard with Fuchs (bigger) & Lucky 7 (new).

I wonder if the Wilson Security car will keep the same livery all year, or will change designs and bonnet & front bar branding each meeting like seemingly happened in 2009?

Not sure that i like the new Irwin or Wilson Security yet. Have to wait to see them on track later in feb.

SP car doesn't look bad, decent evo of last year. Good to see some extra cash coming the stonies way. Hopefully a boost in performance can follow.

SBR had Fuchs logos on all 3 cars mirrors last season. So it's just an increase in funding......or decal size.

As usual, not a fan of the SBR cars. SP Car is better than last years, but still nothing really 'new'.

Irwin car will not be beaten for worst livery of the year.....

Well done Stonies!

Coregas and Lucky 7. Both Australian owned and both new to the sport.

A lot of hard work to get those deals over the line I'd say, but sure beats pinching sponsors from other teams............

New sponsors, particularly from outside the automotive industry always welcome ... I remember how certain posters slagged Norton when they got involved, lets hope these guys are not subjected to similar. One of four (4) businesses in Wesfarmers Energy, a good opportunity.

pinching sponsors from other teams: a silly representation in my view. Would you prefer a sponsor like Jeldwen leaving the sport for AFL or Pirtek & NRL.
Do you think Red Rooster moving from the bonnet of the Ricciardello V8 Alfa to HRT is anything but a vote of confidence to motorsport.
Good emotive stuff pinching sponsors

If there was a choice between the sponsor leaving the 'sport' or being yet again pinched by HRT; then too bad HRT, I would say...
