Are the fuel rigs/fillers used for Dunlop cars the same ones the main series use?

Because that kosteki pitbay has a dodgy one

Yeah, it's a control unit.

The Kostecki car looked like it had a hit around that area, so the seal on the coupling might not have been too good.

Five minutes?

It piddled a LOT of fuel onto the ground. A splash to something hot & it would have gone up. We didnt see tge fire person nor the clean up either..

I thought I saw both kosteki cars drop fuel everywhere.
Initially I thought oring on car but perhaps it is the rig.
Whatever main series pit it is I'm sure they will sort it I guess

It looked like the operator couldn't get the nozzle inside the coupling properly.
Takes a lot of practice to get them square, so air and/fuel doesn't enter/exit the system where it isn't designed to.

Well it's a little too coincidental to have an issue with both cars with the same rig, so one would have to believe it's an issue on the rig end. Anyway, no harm no foul.

Common denominator is the fuel person

Takes quite some physical strength to lock the coupling in.
Dunlop series cars dont generally fill that way when running elsewhere (there is a socket in the boot to empty or fill the car from)

I could be wrong but I thought I heard the commentator s say something about someone at Sandown getting pinged for using the main game boom?? So I presume they are supposed to use their own equipment.

They were pinged for using a Main Game Wheel Gun! (Dunlop Cars didn't Mid Race refuel @ Sandown)
