No idea. I've been told that there'll be one of the eight BMWs for him.

Wow! well that opens up the Team China / Brilliance debate again, but I am pleased for Anthony if it is true.

I'm more than chuffed if it is correct. (I don't doubt you Gabrio, but better not to get my hopes up).

A front running car in a World Championship for my favourite driver...he's bound to be good. But then, when was the last time Anthony raced a RWD touring car ?

As Priaulx is now a works BMW driver, this does open up the door for BMW GB to fund Reid, which would make E46 suggestion of the two at RBM quite sensible.

Well, apparently they have eight cars so they have to put them somewhere, but I would not know if it is in a new team or if they will be allocated to existing teams.

A good decade or so ago, but he's a single seater and sportscar veteran, so it shouldn't be much trouble to him.

Drivers for Proteam Motorsport are D' Aste and Cirò.

So did Oregon lose their Alfa contract as well? Not enough sponsorship?

What contract? They were only a private team, nothing more.

No, they weren't. They bought their spare parts form N Technology and had some help in terms of discounts, but not much else.

Re Oregon: You guys are probably confused because last winter Alfa were making noises of having a junior/mini works team. In other words something to fight BMW and their endless army of works supported 320s. For some reason the plan didn't exactly materialise, reality was exactly as Gabrio described. Which is too bad because two of the three drivers there deserved better.

The good tecnical people from Oregon went away from that team, part of them to Ravaglia and part to a new team setup by father and son Tavano which will run in 3000Proseries with 2 Lolas bought from GP Racing.
Tavano will manage the outfit. Tavano still has a contract with Alfa and will probably race in the stillborn 2005 Italian Touringcar championship with Bigazzi running together with Aldo de Micheli in 2004 N Tecnology ex works 156's from Nordauto.
