I told you GT1 wasnt done yet, but did anyone listen? Noo.... GT1 looks damn much better then GT2 this year! Will be a cracking season and one to follow closely.

Hoping to see two Lambos and not only one, I dont think Kox will be very happy with his co-drivers... :P

Sportscarguy08 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
For those who keep mentioning 3 cars for Phoenix...this is not the case for next year.

Also Peka Racing choose the Saleen because it was cost effective as a lease for 2008....in case any of their vette fans were curious.

Well if you are using the list above as your measure then you're going to be underwhelmed.

There are several cars listed there that have in no way been confirmed

Even with the confirmed cars only its far far away from "the doom", "the end of the GT1 cars" or whatever has been said... Theres still months until the first race and already this many confirmed entries.

Indeed, I hope so too! What's Bouchut upto this year, could he be drafted into the squad as he was surely the quickest of the guys who pedalled them last year?

co-drivers??????.

why??? Don't you think Menten isn't fast? In Zolder He was much faster than Kox. He was many times faster than Mucke and Bochout.
And in 2006 he drove the C6.R for PSI. He drove to the Pole and became 2nd in race. etc. So don't say he isn't a good co-driver.

I have to agree with Graham that there is enough rampant speculation in here to put us ALMS prognosticating dreamers to shame. I'm not saying GT1's going to be weak, but wow...

I have read somewhere (sorry, I don't know that anymore) that the C5-R of PK Carsport was going to South-America.
But I don't think that the C5-R will going to be the car, because the C5-R can still be buyd.

I am assuming that Luc Alphands C5R is for sale as well....if one team would buy those cars they would have a pretty formidable team in the FIA GT.

I don't think so. The cars can't be updated anmymore. They are on the latest specification. The reason that PK was so fast was that they have 2 good drivers, othershave many balast, and they know the car better very good.

the russian driver rumoured to be driving is russian comic and musician Nikolai Fomenko. He may not be the quickest out there but is certinely a competent racer.

Vincent Vosse and Greg Franchi will maybee enter Fia GT or LMS with the Luc Alphand Adventures Corvette C5-R. Greg Franchi prefers the FiaGT.

Surely it'll be better for LAA to run them in one of their C6's?

I suspect that the LAA C6.R's will be dedicated to the LMS, 24LM, and 24Spa.

Confirmation on DSC, then, regarding the Lamborghini entry in both FIA GT and LMS. For any of the DSC staff, was there any indication on what Reiter will do when dates clash?
