Al, I have no idea what you are talking about........
BTW I can also report MSA efficiency at getting licence back to me. They even emailed updates to the new address I gave them on application form. Well done, guys and gals! |

As I understand it that is the proof that light travels at a greater speed than sound. That is why some women appear bright until you hear them speak.

I even watch Coronation Street! BUT can somebody help me? I drink Tetley tea most afternoons (in preference to coffee) but I do not understand what is the CHIPPY TEA that they keep asking each other if they want in the late afternoon? |

Different meals are called different things in different parts of England Up north (where I come from anyway) Tea is the meal you have in the evening and dinner is the meal you have around noon. Down south lunch is the meal you have around noon and dinner is the meal you have in the evening. Up north tea is sometimes referred to as supper which is normally a late evening snack down south. Down south tea is a drink we have with scones and jam in the afternoon. In America tea is something they freeze and then drink cold at any time but Americans are heathens so what more can you expect from them. Hope this helps although I think we've had this discussion before IIRC. BTW A chippy is a fish and chip shop. Last edited by Tim Falce; 13 Dec 2011 at 17:58. |

As it's 'natter'. Can anyone recommend some one to collect a car from Romney Marsh and deliver it to Cambridge?

I think Compte, Chippys tea is similar to brikkies tea, identical in appearance to 'rusty bog water'
Daan saaff we keep said brikkies tea as well as Earl grey*, ceylon and lapsang+ ( there's always one) For Iain, thats * flowery tea and + smokey bacon tea |

Mad dog 1
Isn't dear old Bill Richards based in New Romney? I think he posts here sometimes as mad dog 1. If he couldn't do the job himself, he probably knows a man who can....

Joss Ronchettis company will move it for you Terry I have heard his prices are very reasonable.
Yes of course Tim is correct a Chippy Tea would be a take away from a Fish & Chip shop. |
