I see zero reason why they couldn't get them to GT3 (and GTE). They're only gonna bop the bunch again and again anyway so no performance benefit/deficit apart from the usual politics. Those wishing to marketize it and waste money will and those that don't won't.

At least one car.
Autosport web reports Hideharu Tatsumi (General team manager of SUBARU) interview. *Reason of driver change Sasaki is quick now. But we look 3 year destination. So we had our eye on Yamauchi. he is a very quick and belongs to privateer team. If we won't pick him up, he'll be a strong rival. Therefore we acquired Yamauchi. *Reason of tire change Many pole positions in qualifying is favor of Michelin. But it didn't last long in the race. That's because it's a tire for GT500. So the manufacturer who can design BRZ exclusive use was Dunlop. *Theme in 2015 -2014 car couldn't run straight although cornering speed was fast. -We would like to take in with the stock car theory of SUBARU in 2015 car. http://as-web.jp/news/info.php?c_id=2&no=62608 |

Interesting to say that as it's not as if Michelin is particularly well presented in GT500 either. But in any case that should decrease the GT300 tire variety by one unless someone else switches to them

There was a Porsche that ran Michelin tires in the race in Thailand.

Well, the article says they'd be looking for a similar arrangement as the one they have in the US, i.e. with RLL. So the team may not be run from Munich, but it's still pretty close to a works team.

Apparently, Mugen is set to ditch the CR-Z and move to the upper category to fill up the missing NSX slot Dome left open. So unless they can commit to both categories, which looks to be no, that would leave ARTA as the only pretty CR-Z left in the field. Well I guess with mother chassis Evora and Toyota 86 onboard the JAF-GT300 numbers aren't really gonna be hurted too much by that, but still.
It's good for GT500 obviously though Last edited by Deleted; 16 Jan 2015 at 22:30. |

Those JLOC Huracan will have to mid season because the car hasn't been publicly launched yet and I'm assuming it'll be raced in Europe by a factory blessed squad before anyone else gets theirs hand on it.

Of course, I'm okay for Honda having 6 NSX GT500 cars by moving up Mugen to the top class. |

No. Team apr (Prius) is basically Toyota team.
So young scholarship driver of Toyota would move up. |

Therefore there seems to be no RC-F. And Autosport magazine says that Andre Couto's team mate will be NISMO driver. So 2nd car of team Gainer will be competitive. |

Interesting to see JLOC get a Huracan! Who will be the next mother chassis team/car? Any guesses?
