I really hope Nissan turn up. I'd rather see them testing even though I don't think Le Mans is the place to do it. |

Pitted now I think.
I caught a couple of laps around 57-58 there. It's fun "spying" on them isn't it? At least they're putting a few laps together. Impossible to say whether they're fast or not. |

This is real cool.
Mr. Darren Cox I don´t know if you now about this... but this is very very interesting. I´m in a "#EatSleepRaceRepeat" mode myself |

Of course, that is assuming that the LMP2 car was going full speed. |

I thought it was the Greaves car and team that were using the test track alongside the works squad? I think Cox said who was in the LMP2 on MWM but I'll be damned if I can remember it now.

I wonder how much Nissan have spent on trans-Atlantic flights in the last six months? |

It's a press release, so it may be nothing but hot air, but you wouldn't expect them to say that about an area where they are actually struggling. |

It sounds like they've made some decent progress. No suggestion that they continue to have any fundamental issues. I'm cautiously optimistic that they're going to be OK (relatively speaking) at Le Mans.

Sounds like the car is actually taking good care of its tires. That will be a good thing for Le Mans, the more stints on a tire the better.

Nice rooster tail the car has in the wet. It looks very graceful to me like indicating that the car really moves through the air (and water) very well. It is going to be interesting to hear from the Audi, Toyota and Porsche drivers if there is a large difference in the air while being behind this car compared to the other P1's. |

Encouraging signs hopefully. Let's hope they can keep pushing and put in a solid showing for Le Mans.
I've got used to the look of the car now and I think visually it looks brilliant, especially with a bit of dirt on it. I just hope they can keep them running long enough to get dirty in June. |

Lots of interesting info here. 2MJ class pretty much confirmed. They aim for 8 next year and the hybrid system is going to be driving the rear wheels. |

Interesting that this is supposed to be the LM aero package, but it does not feature the rearwing lights as the regulations requires.

Probably they have bigger fish to fry right now, but the rules specify them to be in the rear wing endplates, which are always skinny things on all the cars, which means the lights are little LED's and wouldn't be very noticeable if they weren't in operation.

Perhaps they really were planning to run without the wing? It won't have been fully designed if it was a last minute addition, and they've had bigger issues since then.

I always thought that the Nissan's front end design reminded me of something, and i think that I found it, the Brabham BT44, 45 and 46
Those Brabhams had a similar nose-mounted radiator architecture with the rads being mounted as far back as possible, and even had pullrod front suspension like the Brabham types mentioned did. BT44: BT45: Standard BT46: |
