HPD new P2 engine might be delayed until 2016 because of recent production NSX development problems(fire in Germany and crash in Japan).

Bad news! Looks like the production model of the NSX will be delayed, as well as GT3/GTE aspirations. I hope it's not electrical problems that caused the fire.

No one said the NSX was an HPD project because it isn't. However when racing is involved HPD would do the GTE NSX if it ever comes, and they would modify the NSX engine for P2 duty if it was required. Nothing here sounds unreasonable. I'm eager to see the HR28TT dumped... |

Honda Co(HondaRacing and Dome working with them) and HNA(HPD is working with them). So the engine I work on doesn't exist? |

The third was a question which, of course, you are under no obligation to answer but I think I have established that you do not work for HPD. Perhaps you work for Honda in some other capacity but it certainly isn't in Santa Clarita. Quote:
The existence of any engine you may be working on is not reliant on my response to your question. When? |

AHM has been turning the shop down looking for me for the last two years! They thought I was in HPD. They know me by RolledaNSX. Ask your boss about me? |

Think...... If I was looking at the racing version engine of the NSX.
Why would I be in a shop next too Magic Mountain? |

Is the HR28TT in the HPD a stressed member?

ARX-04b update
ESM has bought two but might only race one in TUSCC with the other race WEC.(wild card....Rahal and ESM might become one team in Indy and WEC) Andretti bought one and the other is pending and they haven't decided if they will race TUSCC or WEC. SPM bought one and will race TUSCC. Of the two ARX that was going to a WEC team(Krohn changed is mind and bought a Ligier)and the other team is still a secret. |

What's the benefit to Honda calling these things "HPD Coupe's"?
Why not call it an Acura again? or even just a Honda? Is it to avoid the whole manufacturer in P2 debate? |

So Ford can throw it's own body over it in 2017 and still claim it's a Ford! (And not a Fonda - or Facura)

I have the feeling that the Indy teams will get the same treatment as any other team buying a chassis. But maybe already knowing hpd staff will just make the relationship easier.
