The Reiter Engineering GmbH & Co. KG, which is involved in the new project KTM GT4 and became world famous for its Gallardo GT3, is seriously considering entering the TCR International Series. The Austrian team has been related in mentideros with the new project of Audi for TCR. The brand from Ingolstadt will be developing in-house the model for TCR.

The boss of Reiter Engineering does not deny that like to work with the Ingolstadt manufacturer. "If there is an Audi TCR, we will be very happy to run with it," said Reiter to SportMotores.com

The TCR International Series kicks off on March 29th in Malaysia.

Last time I checked, Reiter was based in Kirchanschöring, which is on the Bavarian side of the border....

Right, but that is the one project that we have seen and heard next to nothing about since the announcement. So that has me kind of worried.

Guess we'll know more very soon, with the BoP test scheduled for tomorrow and Tuesday.

So the TCR twitter feed had photos of the Seat, Opel and Honda from the BoP-test... I asked them for pictures of the Ford, but got no reply, which is kinda strange in itself, because they usually do a good job at talking to the fans.

I think all the info should be on the TCR-site, go ahead and write one.

By my reckoning these seats should be filled:
3x Engstler Seat/Golf
4x Craft Bamboo Seat
2-3x Target Seat
3x JAS Honda

Still open, but fairly certain to be there:
3x Campos Opel (seen at BoP Test)
3x Zengo Seat (seen in pictures when shipped to Asia)

No idea, might be DOA:
Onyx Ford
Proteam Ford

So at least 19 cars for the first rounds, and a bit heavy on the Seats, but I think it's just about good enough to get the series successfully off the ground.

The Ford Focus of Onyx Engineering was supposed to take part in the test, but the completion of the car has been delayed. The team has reported that they will complete a shakedown with the car laster this week.
