No big surprises for the livery of the car.

I like the way people are so impatient to play the game of the seven differences.
![]() I just can't wait too. |

Midweek Motorsports on Twitter claims that the TS040 is in the 6mj class?! Typo or a real surprise?
Anyways, Toyota admits 1000bhp with all system & engine combined. If they admit that, how much power does it really have? ![]() |

18.000 kilometers of testing completed.
Not bad, I was worried they had done little testing but apparently they were pretty busy ![]() |

According to https://twitter.com/specutainment/st...27514297073664 the engine displacement is increased from 3.4 to 3.7 liters.
Another prediction by hcl123 gone wrong ![]() Quote:

The 6MJ ERS choice is a small surprise.

This will be the year Toyota will be best prepared by far, last year they didn't even have two of the new cars ready for Spa.
This year, both cars have done 18.000 kilometers before the first WEC test even, a third of it has been done by the second car. |

The front end (headlight area) isn't very nice IMO.

Wait, these look vastly different, is it a different (high downforce?) spec?

According to Motorsport-Total, Toyota is planning long-distance test after Spa to prepare for Le Mans.
The confidence they seem to have this year really excites me more than the car's look. Those Japanese companies always like to play it safe but if they openly say they're gunning to win both Le Mans and the WEC this year they must have been mighty happy with how testing went ![]() |
