Is he down to be one of the drivers?
It would be difficult to believe this thing, based in US, could end up with a Citroen or Skoda badged engine, but then again it is difficult to believe things have gone as far as they have so far. Honestly, if I could vote on sponsors, Trojan comes to mind as being perfect. |

So, no news in a while on this project. Early on they said they planned to test by years end. Don't know how that can happen without an engine. Who knows, maybe they have engine, just no oem support behind it so they made no big announcement?

Which would be down right stupid. There's a possibility that there might be more than the allotted 30 cars for the ALMS at Sebring. GTCs and perhaps LMPCs may have to qualify their way in the show. Why waste one of those precious entry spots so the DeltaWang can run? Dumb, dumb, dumb, Of course, that could describe the whole DeltaWang project.

Mr Dong better give The Dong good brakes or else this thing will proabably do 200 barrel rolls after failing to make the Porsche Curves and come crashing down on my tent in the campsite.

Seriously, the DeltaWang continues to set the comedy bar higher and higher each day. The thing is so pathetic, but yet I'll have hiccups all day tomorrow just laughing from the reality show that is the DeltaWang. All they need now is for Dick Trickle and Randy Lajoie to drive it and this company to sponsor it: |

So all that's left is the engine, on the Delta Wing's website it says the engine will weigh 70 kg and put out 300hp... any chance they use the AER, their engine only weighs 74kg and even though it may be under powered for an LMP if it's in the Delta Wing it would be more than enough power

Sorry, maybe that is cheap shots at them, I have not kept up with this thing at all, so do not know what parts are locally made. |

The tires were from Michelin and the tub is from the AMR while the transmission and brakes are from, EMCO Gears (Chicago based) and Performance Friction Brakes (South Carolina based)... I assumed that like the tub and tires for the ECU and engine they would go with already proven units to reach their deadlines

I think they've already said they'll use a WRC/S2000 engine.
