I have noticed that WTCC have caught on to people looking at the driver database to find out new additions to driver profiles before announcements.

Looks like they are updating the site as it's not working totally correctly for me and things keep changing everytime I refresh. The Lada badge has appeared top right below the link to the Media Lounge with the other manufacturer logos, Ford still there at the moment

There are hundreds of E90 touring cars out there, it could have come from anywhere.

It's just for testing the engine I guess. Also the C30 was a 3-door

It'll be Zengo's or Proteam's car (if it's been rebuilt). The cost to upgrade to the new 320 TC package is quite high, so it'd only make sense to buy one of the ones that are already upgraded.

It was, but was also run under national homologation as an exception. Citroen will have to build a car to FIA specs.

It looks like a WRC DS3 with the WRC wing on...

But they're talking about redoing the 2014 regs to make the cars more spectacular and to accomodate and attract manufacturers. I'm sure Citroën will define the rules more than the rules will define the car. There was also a quote from Loeb about how he would be excited to drive more powerful cars.

So far 17 cars confirmed.

Yvan Muller has confirmed he will race in WTCC. According to rumours he will stay at RML. His teammate (and backer ) will be Tom Chilton.

According their website STR will race in WTCC but until they officially announce their drivers I keep their status as "likely".

Just to correct: The team running the LADAs is not the Russian Bears Motorsport. RBM is participating in ETCC, OpenGT and Blancpain Endurance Series. Of course the LADA Sport team principal is the RBM founder Victor Shapovalov. He is now the General Director of TMS Sport.

I agree. Makes perfect sense to test the engine, running gear and racing suspension in a WRC car for now.

As far as I know, no he does not own the team. Russian Bears Motorsport has been merged with Viycheslav Maleev's AVTOCOM Racing Team. The ex-LADA WTCC driver Kirill Ladygin is still one of the drivers.

By the way read here about last Saturday's annual "Race of Stars" held in Moscow, where Ladygin had a record fourth win competing the "Iceman" Kimi Raikkonen, Charles Pic and other Russian drivers.

Wow, this is getting interesting. Well, it just means that 2010-2012 drivers aren't leaving, plus Münnich and Honda have replaced Seat and BMW. It could be better, it could be worse.
