Yeah the RotY model is pointless, probably even more so than the Christmas one! Don't understand quite why the tyre piece can't come with the Sonoma model either...not that I'm especially bothered! I'm not keen on the bits of sheet metal that are on eBay for similar reasons, it's just not really displayable.

I've just received the Daytona 24hrs car myself - it's a hand-built 1:43 model by Provence Miniatures and as the photo fish88 posted shows, it is fabulous.

Luckily, I get the unique 1/43's anyways, so it doesn't bother me so much. But I wish it was to be made in 1/18, it's a great car! Surely one day?

Hope so, action made so prototypes of 2004 but never made some since then. The model is a provence models car. Yes i bought this 1:43 because he wouldnt be brought out in 1:18. I firs preordered the kit, nut i aint that good in building cars so i thought it was better to buy this one. And with the low dollar I took it inmediatly.
