He deserves this victory because he was the quickest today. The only negative part is the crash with his teammate.

I feel badly for Scott, but think he has over reacted.
It was a bad move, no doubt about it. But I doubt it was on purpose, as he seems to be thinking. The move did dampen things a little though, but still a phenomenal drive and really exciting. Just wished he waited a bit more before making a move for the lead. |

It was a poor move, Scott is right to be unimpressed.
Interview with Montoya coming up after that bloke jumps out of the car, again. |

Got to say at the end of it all - fantastic race. What am I going to do next week when the online streaming ends?
JPM proved his ability as a road racer, despite the way he took the lead I'm sure he would have taken P1 anyway. Can he convert this now into a good performance on the ovals? We'll soon see... |

I think Montoya has made a misjudgement celebrating wildly after that move as well. Should have been more sombre with an apology to Mr Pruett.
Jumping around will not help matters! |

Ambrose 8th. So after his spin he was able to move to the front. Well done.

I can understand Montoya's view, because Scott REALLY did shut the door.
Scott might get into trouble for that post race crap he did. |

I'm chuffed that JPM won it, he seemed to be in another league to the rest of the field. The whole race was vintage JPM - a great move early on, leading comfortably, bizarre problems, great fightback and then a bit of a clumsy move on Pruett. Hopefully nothing will come of it - I certainly don't think he intended to punt him off.
Ambrose recovered to P8 which was a good drive after being spun out. That should put him well up in the points standings - thought he also did a great job today. |

Well, I tuned in to the last 15 or so laps online, fantastic!! I still wish we'd had the whole thing live on TV though, watching on the laptop just isnt the same as watching on a 32" TV! I'll look forward to watching the race in full
Pablo was a wee silly there... he should have waited, obviously, but he's now won in a stock car. Coming back from 19th, don't forget, that's gotta do wonders for the confidence. I just wish they'd stop going on about 'international superstar, Formula 1 champion'!! |

Take off those rose-tinted specs, kelvin!
If it had of been any other driver the move would have been acceptable, a little wreckless, but acceptable. But on a team-mate? No, it's just not the done thing diving down the inside like that. And I say that as a fan of Pablo. |

Once Pruett calms down it'll probably be water under the bridge and they'll be able to work together. I think Pruett may be a little jealous of all the attention Montoya has been getting and that's probably influencing his words to a degree. To me it looked like it was Pruett's fault from the replay. I realize he was trying to maintain the lead and had to get back over in the corner, but Montoya was pulling up beside him at the time and had a noticeably faster car. Plus he had passed about 10 other cars in that very spot. It might be that Pruett's spotter let him down and gave him the all clear. But in my eyes Pruett was the one that cut over into Montoya and wrecked himself.
Pruett will probably get docked points and fined and maybe put on probation for the hitting Montoya after the race. It won't matter much since he doesn't run the full schedule though. If he doesn't let it pass he will probably not be driving for Ganassi for much longer as there is a lot more money invested in Montoya. Beyond that Montoya has a right to celebrate. Brian Vickers did after he wrecked his teammates after all! It was probably the first of many wins, it'll be fun to see what happens this summer at Sears Point and Watkins Glen in the Cup cars.
