The true meaning to the term but together by Holden for the 24hr 'Game over' sounds like its back to haunt Holden again again and again

Funny isn't it? Generally speaking the simplest device is less likely to break - less parts etc to go wrong. You can't get much simpler than a 6.0 litre V8 with manual box and RWD, yet they seem to as much as or more than the EVOs, which have AWD, CVs, active diffs, yaw control, etc etc going on inside them.
Personally if I was driving the race I'd use the 335i . They seem to be the gruntiest thing in a straight line and I'd prefer that beautiful engine, not my ********, doing the hard work. |

How do those stickers go with the original paintwork? if you peel them off, does the paint come too?

Nice work MtP - I'd hate to hink how many air bubbles I'd have trapped under there if I tried it.... I had enough trouble with a simple number patch!

Paint work is fine on original stuff, you run into problems sometime when there has been a respray and poor prep work.

Wow, the car is painted with "stickers"? That must be difficult.
Is that a new technology? I thought the cars were always sprayed with a base colour. |

Looks awesome. Will be watching Love The Beast at a preview screening whilst up at Bathurst too - the preview at Top Gear Live looked the goods.

If any of you photographer types that are up at the track on the weekend can get some shots of th ecar that would be great. I would like to use them on my website, credit will be given to the photographer and a web link if you have a site.
Thanks Shane |

Damn!! That HSV wagon looks tough in black and I'm really taking a shine to Eric Bana's EVO, that orange colour really suits the Lancer.
