Midgie! Personally I would never drive a Jap car, of any persuasion. A personal bias against little yellow men.
I became anti Jap cars after owing a MX6 which tried to take off whenever I got to around 85mph. |

Well done Peter M in managing to get home! Interesting that yesterday the Telegraph website named the two peeps ‘being questioned’ and included pics, but the beeb are still declining to name them! Have to say they don’t sound like likely suspects.....

Haven’t been on here for a while, so decided to check in to get up to date with latest on MGB’s & Escorts only to find that Brexit had even permeated these hallowed grounds.
Happy Christmas one and all 🙏 |

Maybe the BBC got it right - they've been released without charge.

Is it by mistake or intentional? This man and his woman were may be trying to experiment a Crawley to Luton flight, the drone's signal being jammed by an itn' airport while take off and by a "bubble" located around the intended destination? who knows? Bauble, any idea here?

Thanks to social media of any kind, even Mr and Ms John can be famous nowadays! I guess DJI people have a relief, they might have lost two big clients. Business is business, isn't it?
Mike, is that you here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZME0eCCiz3E The date doesn't match though. Last edited by Gerard C; 23 Dec 2018 at 11:58. |

Could it be brexit related? Last Jan I booked October BA flights- Gatwick to Faro return for £90. Just done a trial booking for next Oct, over £300!! And no seats available for two midweek days!!
Maybe the sales haven’t started yet...... |

Talking things rotary, and Mazda in particular, I have quite fond memories of the original RX7 - Did my first Swedish International Rally as co-driver in one, and did a few more Internationals, including getting a second in class on the Manx!
The RX8 has always intrigued me, tho I'm aware of the tales of mega oil consumption. Of course my favoured racing club - CSCC - are running a series for road-legal RX8s next year - intended to be a very affordable series as they must remain mostly standard......It'll be interesting to see how it goes. |

Haha we had that in France, but had to stop when it came to check the camshafts and valves diameter ! From what I've been told, the scrutineer is still in a hospital with very special needs. You can spot him from time to time, when he is allowed to see the sun, he has a special licence and wears a white shirt, the sleeves being put together in his back!

Yes Alex and I have discussed the RX8 series next year of course. We're wondering how many takers there will be. His is a Special Edition 40th Anniversary of the rotary engine model, so the value is in it staying stock.
Some of the guys in the karting world that have RX8s run them on their left over two stroke mix at the end of the meeting Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk |

They had a dedicated Cup for the Mexicos in Belgium. May be in England too? Cant remember the country but the staff in charge of technical inspections was really suspecting cheating from the five leaders. One spotted the five guys playing with the windshield washer system during the first laps. He had the good idea the check the empty reservoir after one race and found nothing but a strong smell of ether… All the tubing was diverted to arrive in the airbox. A kind of semi direct injection!

Ami Robert, I got THE place to "meat" each other in Luton!
You're a returning customer of Le Steak Parisien I've been told. No worry they only serve black angus meat. Boiled of course!! PS Hope this won't upset Mike H, I'm under the belt investigation… |

You’re not wrong there Peter, it was actually a very informative debate that didn’t lower itself to name calling and insults, which of course I expect on here.

I've found the press release if not the dates yet - PHEW!
Thankfully it includes the rule "No special editions." MiniMM's car is a special edition. That's just saved my wallet Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk |
