Maybe. Just seemed a bit odd to describe a solo crash as an incident which is why I presumed it was to do with the multi car pileup that blocked the track.

Some bloke (or blokette) may or may not be warming the seat Dan Cam previously warmed. That's about the size of it. Based on last race meet we might find out a handful of hours before.

Lucky Khera must be competing in more series then any other driver at the moment, he's out every weekend!

And more power to the chap as well, he's a lovely bloke

He might not be straight at the sharp end in BTCC, but he would be far from embarrassing.

So either we're getting an extra entry with Ciceley then, or they've put bumpers on a spare shell.

Proctor or Thompson would be best-case scenario, not sure either have a seat anywhere this year. Expecting it to be another Jade Edwards-standard though...

Could BTC's announcement be that they're scaling down to two cars?

Seriously, I think Proctor is a viable scenario and would be very welcome. The guy's still young and may become better and better. I'd be happy if he's back, suppose he should be on the grid.

BTCC announcements at 9am on a Wednesday usually mean they are in Motorsport News - anyone got the digital copy yet?

Annoyingly my copy isn’t downloadable yet!!!

However, no surprises that it’s Proctor, good addition to the team and glad to see him back on the grid.

Great that it's Senna. I've always felt he should be on the grid and together with Cookie they should make a decent pairing. Last year he was very solid and has already shown he's quite a capable touring car driver so best of luck for him.

Btw, in the wake of this, what can we make of the alleged third Cicely BMW?
