 PSR team manager Brendon was at sydney airport today to see off the cars as they were packed on the plane Brendon said "these guys do a great job packing the cars on the plane.murph,todd,myself and the rest of the team head off tomorrow.cant wait to get there hope the puke prince (murphy) and todd can deliver the goods this weekend. |

After missing a round, TBMatt05 has announced he will compete this season in the V8 Supercar Fantasy Championship and has announced a few changes for his team. Firstly Jim Beam has jumped onboard as naming rights sponsor with Bridgestone, Penrite and Nike also announced as subsidery sponsors to create Jim Beam Racing Team. In addition to that the team will start the season with new drivers with Steven Richards, Paul Morris and Fabian Coulthard. PSR had a terrible weekend todds car blowing up murph punted into the armco team manager Brendon said "terrible just bloody terrible." Greg Murphy said "not good you know having a shocker in adelaide missing the gp now another shocker we couldn't have asked for a worse start to the year." Todd Kelly said "thats our bad round out of the way." the team hopes that all the bad luck is out of the way and we get plentty of wins and no DNF's as points are critical in this championship. |

Club 27 Racing Press Release
   After an eventful meeting at Pukekohe Club 27 Racing has celebrated its first round of the season by releasing Marcus Marshall from his contract. Team principal Woodbine explained that the departure was due to a difference of opinion "He thought he was a good racing driver. We didn't". Marcus will be replaced by Lee Holdsworth with immediate effect. Woodbine said of his new charge "Even driving the second GRM car lee has been was lapping Pukekohe nearly a second a lap faster than Marcus and so far he has scored 150 points more than him. I don't know why I let myself be talked out of hiring him in the first place". The revised Club 27 Racing Team will make its debut at the Perth 400 on the 12-14th of May. |

Heineken Team Racing in for Major Re-shape
After a disastrous opening two rounds and sitting 31st in the championship, HTR is aparantly in for a major face lift. As of April 23rd it is being reported that David Thexton has been released from the team, his duty of team manager being rumoured to have been taken over by former BAR Honda and Prodrive Employee, David Richards Rumours have also been floating about that Heineken is bitterly dissapointed in the opening rounds performances and are looking desperately for an out-clause in their season long sponsorship deal. Because of the Richards rumours and his links to Prodrive their are rumours floating about that maybe some cross branding could occur with either FPR, SWRT or Aston Martin Racing. But the biggest news to come out of the weekend is the fact that kead driver Greg Murphy has been fired by team bosses after a poor performance in the first 2 rounds, being described as disgraceful, it was decided after the Pukekohe round that Greg would no longer drive for the team, with a replacement desperately being searched for to replace him before the round at Barbegello |

"But anyway, we will go and finally to our 2nd test day, donate our brusied parts to our supporting charities and go down to the first round of the national drift series." Anyway, the cars are back at the workshop getting fixed up in time for round 3.
