The official website says the race will be broadcast as a 3 hour free to air special on Channel 7, Saturday 06 March 2009 (timings tba) and replayed on FOX SPORTS (timings tba).
No live TV.

McKay mentions the 12 hour in the Sun Herald this week - Bana gets a plug as well as the Sydney-based Pro-Duct effort. He reckons the Sherrins could win it outright in their $1.35. I reckon their odds are more like $9.95 but hey...

A BMW 135i with 3 genuinely speedy pilots at the wheel, prepared professionally and without overstressing the engine, are a genuine outright contender. This is not the Sherrin car.

Not sure its the ProDuct cars either...

TMR x 3 is where smart money might be best placed!

Based on previous 12 Hours, I think TMR would be paying very short odds. If I were a betting man, I'd place a lazy 10 on the Jim Hunter Subaru. Great driver line-up, only the car's speed is the worry. But then again, I may just be thinking with my heart rather than my head..

Monaro centre running the Sportswagon?
Will the Donut King Holden come out of the Mal Rose stable?
Support for alternate energy is very dissapointing. Do they need some sort of carbon footprint or economy index to make it attractive to dealers and importers of performance diesels?
Disapointing support for the invitational class but I guess the snag there is where do you run them the rest of the year.
Still an interesting field, and if last year was any example I'm going to enjoy the weekend.
