Providing that the car doesnt let them down , that car should be a real quick machine .

Glad to see J-CW back in Fia , has Hughs ever done the Fia GT before ?

Occasionally in GT2- he was in one of the Gruppe M Porsches at Spa in 2004 , and a couple of FIA GT starts when Team LNT were running the TVRs- otherwise I think most of his GT mileage has been been British GT, LMS or Le Mans

Warren if im correct did the full 2005 and 2006 LMS season's with LNT if im correct?
So that would be a stint in the TVR T400R and a stint in the Panoz Esperante, so a reasonable amount of experience there, plus all the British GT stuff as well. Hughes is one of the best British Sports Car Drivers out there, hugely undervalued and under rated, if I was Audi or Pug I would have put him in one of the car's a long time ago.

Hah, that came from far left field. How the mighty have fallen. Anyway, Grosjean is far better than his F1 stint showed, and with Mutsch that's an incredibly strong lineup (this season is turing out to be full of them).

Well Bernoldi seems like the proverbial ping-pong ball as first he was listed as driving a GT 40 for Matech, then the Mad Croc Corvette with Maassen and now he is with Ramos in a Vitaphone Maser!! If this is the case, unless Vitaphone are forced to drive with flat tires, they should win the Championship again.

Since the race is several weeks before the British GP, is FIA GT still going to be using the current GP layout at Silverstone?

Think that's more for promo reasons.

There will have to be some TV coverage hopefully

Not according to their listings in any case as they've nothing for the Abu Dhabi race or the Silverstone race.

Incredible, we go from 3 to 2 to 1 hour races all in the name of better TV coverage. End result - a week to the first race and no confirmed coverage on any main channel (?). Meanwhile the 8 hour le mans race gets 3 hours live on Eurosport....
