Just got back home. Had to stop off in Troyes for a meeting. What a wonderful Spa. Iain and I have been going there for over 12 years and I cannot remember enjoying myself more. Wonderful to meet Cliff, Mike, Gordon (and his charming wife and friends), 2 pints of Larkins, Eddy V and especially Mr & Mrs McKay. Colin and his wife had to put up with me all weekend and all I have to show for it is one photo:

"Anyway, having to follow him I came upon Henry Mann in the Cortina"
Sorry Peter, that wasn't me, I was driving a Mustang in that race, sounds like a good dice though! |

A lap and a bit in the Escort There's a better quality version from the other camera but I don't seem to be able to get it to work in Windoze Movie Maker.

It's a quick time movie file, I've found a programme to convert it to avi so I'll try tomorrow. That video is HD and it came out the camera as an avi file.

We had a similar problem with some Go Pro HD footage, needed a very late Win 7 laptop to get it to read, my older PC and laptop on 7 didn't want to know. iPad should read it if you have a connector.

WTF you 3 talking about.....
Thanks Marcus for posting your video! Ive now been round Spa in an M1B. Looked about 2:45? However, do think that if you want to appeal to the 'yoof' market perhaps a bit more oppo and tyre smoke- even the odd spin- would be good! |

I don't know if you can update Windows MM with later codecs, and even handle HD ? I use a more sophisticated editing suite.

I used to use Pinnacle but it's an old version and never worked that well so Movie Maker will do unless I can find a shareware version of a decent programme

Watching the film one has time to look at the rev counter - 7000 in top is 187 mph! And that is above the take off speed for the Airbus 319 I took Sunday night. |

The two entries at the bottom of the list may (or may not) be of use. http://gopro.com/support/faq-hd-hero...y-for-computer I also assume that this link on the MW site provides a connection to teh latest greatest software available for Win 7. (But who knows, it doesn't really seem to tell us much.) http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/com...ders&os=32-bit |

Would just like to say a big Thank you to Peter for taking the time to speak to my wife and myself, and just before he was due out on track. Yet again a very enjoyable weekend.

Here's some footage onboard my Falcon, #223. What a great race, particularly the 2 hour night stint. Loved it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaVnvju-pN0
