With JMB's drivers running the AF Corse machine, I assume this likely means that JMB has withdrawn their reserve entry?
Also, they fixed Seikel's number, giving them #71. Last edited by The359; 12 Apr 2007 at 20:07. |

Seikel have now been left off the entry list with the GPC car now shown as #83.
I assume Seikel will reappear on the list with a new number......... #71 it is then The359! Last edited by Bentley03; 12 Apr 2007 at 20:17. |

The AF Corse lineup is beyond pathetic. Expected much much better of that team.
We can always pray that Ferrari will shuttle drivers to GPC, but I doubt it. De Simone and Mowlem would be good as well. If Tracy Krohn gets involved with the second Risi entry the Ferrari charge will be seriously blunted. I'd really hoped to see a straight fight between Risi, AF Corse and Scuderia Ecosse but I guess it is not to be. |

Yes, Seikel did disappear from the ACO's website, but it is still listed on the PDF.

Well, they sold that entry to Farnbacher last year. Perhaps the #71 is an indicator to who they might be selling the entry to this year. One of the drivers of the car last year now drives for an owner that wants to be a LM.

JMB's entry has now fallen off the reserve list (not surprising, all their drivers are in the AF Corse entry...)
Also, they've fiddled with the numbers. Binnie and Noel del Bello have swapped numbers, and the second Risi is now #99. http://www.lemans.org/24heuresdumans...ngages_fr.html |

So who do we have driving a 997 then ?
Autorlando ...... no drivers named so far , possible works backed car ? Farnbacher/Proton ..... Pompidou-Lieb and a TBA . Lizards ..... Van Overbeek-Bergmeister and a TBA . Imsa ..... Narac-Lietz-Long . Gotta be a fav !!! Seikel ..... no names yet either . Porsche should get a few of their ALMS kiddies and support the teams , cuz Porsche may have a hard time this year , but I have every confidence in them . Just picked this off mariantic .....
What's the betting that renumbering the Seikel car as #71 is due to Jim Tafel leasing the entry? Expect Wolf Henzler & Dominik Farnbacher to join him in this car... Interesting theory , wouldnt surprise me at all . |

With Felbermayr/Proton's own entry still 2nd on the reserve list, I'd have thought that if they're taking over the Seikel entry as well, they'd have been much better served putting Lieb/Pompidou in no71, rather than Felbermayr Snr & Jnr driving it... Maybe they're aiming at running 2 cars and still confident that they'll get their own no77 entry into the race? Are there any obvious potential no-shows still on the list? The second Barazi Zytek entry looks favourite unless they've got a second chassis they're keeping quiet about, but that still needs another withdrawal before no77 gets in... |

The entry which puzzles me most is Autorlando. Their FIA-GT driver Lietz has been drafted by the Factory into the IMSA car, perhaps Autolando too have their pre-selected entry up for offer... The Joest R10 has not been confirmed of course - but everyone knows it will be there with at least nominal "outside support" (Shell, Siemens, Red Bull?) Other dodgy entries? JLOC? I reckon there's still room for most of the reserves. Mariantic Last edited by mariantic; 29 Apr 2007 at 16:30. |

I got a sneaking feeling that the Autorlando 997 will turn into a kinda semi- works car . Lotta ALMS Porsche drivers dont have a drive , Bernhard , Henzler , Lieb and possibily Briscoe too . Is Brisco a factory driver or a Penske driver ? |
