My friend who works at Corvette Motorsport interviewed Hezemans this week, where he announced it first to them. Look for it in a few days (Sun I think). This is why I sadly cant announce it. I will post the link once it is up.

TV Coverage is on ESPN in the UK, according to the schedule on the ESPN website.

Yup, i'm surprised this is the chosen channel....

Why the heck doesn't Ratel just stick with a channel longer term. In the loast few years it's gone from Eurosport to Motors to Sky to ITV4 to Men & Motors to Channel 4 and now ESPN.

And I bet i've missed a few out.

Interesting that the PlanetLemans entry list for the upcoming season opener at Yas Marina in Abu Dahbi has only one Mad Croc and one Phoenix Corvette listed for Salo/Kuismanen and Hennerici/Zuber, respectively. I know there was some post up above about a new running mate for Hezemans but the news doesn't seem forthcoming.

Planetlemans entrylist also has an all Brazilian lineup for the second Reiter Lamborghini-Ricardo Zonta and Rafael Daniel.

Although GT1World says that there will be second cars for both Corvette teams but the co-drivers for Massen and Heizemans have not been announced yet.

Wonder where that leaves Piccini with respect to Le Mans , I thought he was in to drive the Lola B09/Judd . Will Racing Box have him , or Hezemans ?

Piccini is only signed up for 3 races with his budget, so anything is open im sure. Mad Crocs driver finalized as well.

Great to see Piccini back in GT1, shame it won't be full time by looks of it?

Separately, it would be mega if one of the teams vould do a deal with Johnny Herbert or JJ Lehto (if his back was up to it!)

To be fair the ESPN coverage this weekend is nothing special. No live coverage just highlights on Saturday and Sunday, however for those without it is still a bad deal.

Piccini and Hezemans will be another strong lineup, hopefully something happens and it lasts for the whole season.

I thought it would be the money (Cioci, Perazzini, Pirri) for Le Mans, no? Anyway, Hezemans does not have a Le Mans entry last time I checked...

Quite so. The point I was making was that signing for Phoenix Carsport for FIA seems to have zero bearing on LM directly.
