That's some decent grid!

Seeing Rebellion fighting in LMP1 Pickett and Dyson for a podium, or perhaps a surprise win against Audi, will be awesome. Extreme Speed vs Level 5 will be interesting too.

The 12-car GT grid is absolutely amazing. Six manufacturers with two cars each, and lots of platinum drivers.

My only complaint is that there's too many classes, so it will be hard to keep up with so many simultaneous fights for the lead!

I am quite impressed with the driving talent in all the classes. It's expected in LMP and GT, but even in the Challenge classes will be tough to pull off the victory!

Are Sharp and van Overbeek platinum? I think Cosmo was recently downgraded, but haven't heard anything on Johannes.

As long as one driver is Silver or Bronze, you can run two Gold/Platinum drivers in a P2 car. The single-pro-driver rule is in GTE-Am.

Drivers within a certain age bracket who have had long careers in series like F1/NASCAR/IndyCar or other high-level single-seater series are automatically classified as Platinum.

David Brabham and Stéphane Sarrazin come to mind. Would also be kinda of a shocker if they´d hire Diaz or Barbosa. Bouchut seems even more unlikely imo.

Seems to me that Cosmo has proven over the years to be superior to Sharp so why is rated lower? Weird.

This whole driver ratings rule is a strange one at times, so yes JvO is a good driver in a GT car. He has no experience in protos, surely that has to weigh in on the ratings in some way?
