I don't know if I like this one or not. I admire their efforts and determination, for sure, but I'm not so sure about the car. Maybe it'll grow on me... I think I'm just spoiled from all of the spaceships we see now in LMP1 (and I love the new Lotus LMP2, also!) .

The rear half is far from being old fashioned, looks actual. I´m more worried about the engine choose, a judd or a nissan should be a better option IMO

Indeed, the engine will be the most questionable part. Yes it is an old tub design, but so is the Oreca and HPD currently used in in P2. The Pilbeam has updated aero and suspension, so in theory, the chassis should be fine.

I assume you are referring to the E-I teasers.

According to this blog article, it's expected to be the new Pescarolo School Prototype that should replace the existing Pescarolo 02 chassis. This prototype would be built by Sora Composites (as far as the chassis is concerned) and powered by a Chevrolet engine.

In other words, it's not expected to be a new LMP prototype.

But, it's likely to share the same Chevrolet LS3 6.2L V8 (360-430 HP) engine as used in the Pescarolo 02 V-de-V/school prototype and the Oreca FLM09

Well, not really, especially since it isn't really a CN either. At a baseweight of 840kg, with 18 inch wheels and 360bhp it is rather different from the regular CN-cars in VdeV.

However, Eric VdeV, the series' head honcho has stated before that he would like to move away from the CN-only ruleset and open up the series to cars build to other rulesets.

10 orders!!?? The McLaren hasn;t been the most reliable car in GT3, especially in long distance races. So that suprises me.
