think we could see IMSA apply the 5% reduction now seeing the pace of the P2s? and im thinking we could see good battles at lime rock and mid-ohio for the oveall wins again, maybe even next week. st pete's gotta be a tight track somewhat helping the P2s keep up?

On the other hand, the Nissan C52 that raced at LM in 1999 too, was a Courage chassis. (source : Le Mans annual book 1999) Et voilÃ* ! |

I remember Nissan supplying the engine and running the car, but not the chassis being renamed a Nissan.

Scott Atherton just said in an interview with Speed that there is 1, possibly 2 teams looking to come into LMP1. Now who could that be besides Cytosport?

A pity for Lopez - he has been really really impressive in the car, a perfect GT debut for someone whose open wheel career should be on a more upward trajectory. Hindy just paid tribute to his excellent handling of the car on fire, too.
Pity he can't be in the Ferrari for the season, he's impressed me more than the other 2 in the car, who are talents themselves in their own right. |

RLM seems to be having problems, so TV volume goes back on for a bit. |

Lavaggi is in the LMS for the season, so I don't really get that point... I suspect Atherton would only talk about nearly full season entries.
This Radio Web issue is really starting to drive me nuts. |

Mind you, my logic would follow that a couple of GT1 cars would be bought over from europe to be sure of getting a 24 hour entry next year & that hasn't happened. |

GT2 battle is sensational, period. Risi vs. FL is epic. The driver lineups in those 2 cars (Salo-Melo-Mowlem vs. Bergemeister-van Overbeek-Lieb) are spectacular, the cars prepared beautifully...what a scrap all race long.
FIRE, Colin Braun has been quick but not sensational in the #61. Sort of hard to tell how much of that is the car setup etc. and how much of it is unfamiliarity with the car. Both he and Jonsson have GT experience of some sort, but more in the forgiving Porsche than the pointy Ferrari. |
