Well, i assume we have all seen this by now, but may as well have a record of it here.

JPM's Nationwide Series car that he will be running at Homestead: http://www.thesundayhauler.com/store...erade2008.html

A unique livery as well, so well worth getting for the collection. If you have money!

JPM is also probably going to do other selected Nationwide events (I imagine Watkins Glen is chalked in for certain) so there is a possibility for other liveries, although I guess they'd probably just run in Wrigley's liveries or Powerade.

Freakin awesome car, great too see him back in Nationwide again. He still doesn't got that much expierience as all the other guys so evry bit of track experience will help IMO.

I got this testcar yesterday BTW, my first Montoya car in a while.

I've also acquired two new 'models.' Two Winners Circle 1/64's. They're exactly the same model inside the packaging, but each one has a different packaging. One is the normal, standard for 2008 one, and the other is the 50th Daytona 500 one.

Good find fish88, looks a great model.

I did notice GPL in the UK are selling some 1:24 NASCAR models, including the Sonoma car, but they're selling them for an extortionate £50 + postage. It's at least £10 cheaper to import direct from the USA, including shipping!

The 2008 Big Red model is now on eBay....sadly still with the Avenger grille decals. Link

Also much like the Big Red logo on the rear QP of the actual Texaco car has a red background, the Texaco/Havoline logos on the rear QPs of the actual Wrigley's cars are on a black background - the models are all wrong in this area since they are the same colour as the rest of the car. Will have to wait for the race winning cars for accuracy(!)

Yep, and the Juicy Fruit car will be inaccurate as well in that regard.

Motorsports Authentics are an absolute joke.

Basically, we are reliant on a win in each style of car. A win in any car would be lucky.

Indeed. It's all well and good having the models out early but it's pointless if it means the liveries are going to be wrong. The 2008 cars are not quite as inaccurate as last year's Texaco Charger which was fairly fundamentally wrong - but it's still not really good enough.

That is so anoying about the fast release of the car, can't really tell what is so hard to change some stickers.

let's hope he wins with all 3 liveries :P

Yeah, for the Dodge models they put all the decals on right (or close) including the Charger decals, but they keep the Avenger body shape and light decals.

The race winning Dodge models will have the correct livery and shape.

It is just unbelievably lazy.

Here on this page are my pictures. I bought it because i didnt tought anyone else would make the car. But maybe greenlight will make the car in 1:24 that will be much cheaper and would fit better between the other 1:24 cars. Bought it with the low dollar but still expensive indeed.

For a 1:43 it is almost the best quality you can get that is for shure. The engine looks very nice in the car (it is standing at my mothers home, divorced parents, so cant make any real pictures now. But it maked this picture e phew weeks ago when I got this Daytona 1:43 Diorama.

Haha lol, there is this topic for isnt it (great to have a special topic BTW with only Montoya diecats).

The car is more than half size smaller than the 1:24, but the display box is very nice so you dont need to place it next to them.
