That is wishful thinking of The Badger. As far as I recall, customer cars were not mentioned in the Midweek Motorsport podcast.

Yep, Hindy made a big effort to point out that Vasselon said that a customer car wasn't going to happen any time soon. Maybe '14 though, who knows! Rebellion as a satellite team? That with the old livery would be badass

IF it were to happen, I'd love to see Rebellion with a year old TS030, but I suspect Oreca would be the more likely recipient.

Well, Oreca are already running TS030, don't they?

Okay, but more as an independent effort, they're more like 'hired help' right now

How many of Oreca staff are part of Toyota's WEC effort?

Shin Kato SARD outfit is very well connected to Toyota , and has been in the past raced several class's of Toyota , and still do in the JGTC afaik .
"In addition, SARD develop and manufacture tuning parts mainly for Toyota cars, namely turbochargers, redesigned fuel systems and cooling systems, suspension parts and aerodynamic kit. The company is not restricted to Toyotas as they are well known within the aftermarket tuning market for their fuelling components used by numerous tuning companies . Also, under as SARD Marine Project, a separate project to its car works, it builds and sell its Toyota powered motorboats" . |

Just pointing out that SARD is well connected to Toyota is all .
I had been saying that it would be nice , if Toyota let SARD run a 2012 car in the WEC or AsLMS next year . |

Another confirmation that Toyota will retrain the 6 current drivers for next year:

The #8 Toyota with Davidson/Sarrazin will be my guess for the 2013 world endurance champions |

Also good to hear a second report of a third car at Le Mans.
Have to agree about Davidson/Sarrazin that is a formidable pairing. |

Yes it is. If Nakajima had more time in the car I think he would be the fastest guy. Wurz seems to be the man at the moment.

It should be noted that Wurz and Lapierre took third in the WEC drivers' championship when the #12 Rebellion Lola dropped out with 10 minutes remaining.
That shows how the WEC championship rewards winning, seeing as how the #7 Toyota didn't enter Sebring, withdrew from Spa, and DNF'd at Le Mans and Bahrain, and didn't complete enough distance in either race to score points. |

Well done TMG & Denso...what an amazing Car you guys have created...it must be the most sophisticated and most technically advanced Racing Car currently racing anywhere in the World (and that includes F1)
If only WEC had the Media Coverage that CRS (Celebrity Racing Series) gets! Roll on 2013! |

Did Rebellion win a race this year ?
Number 12 .... 17th at Sebring . 5th at Spa . 4th at Le mans . 6th at Silverstone . 4th at Sao Paulo . 4th at Bahrain . 4th at Fuji . DNF at Shanghai . What exactly do you expect ..... not brilliant scoring finishs to be honest against what Toyota have done . 1st:25 points 2nd:18 points 3rd:15 points 4th:12 points 5th:10 points 6th:8 points 7th:6 points 8th:4 points 9th:2 points 10th:1 point And beyond:0.5 point But maybe 7 points between 1st and 2nd is a bit much . Perhaps 21 for 1st place would be more reasonable . |

I still think that the Audi R18 e-tron quattro is equally advanced, if not more. |
