I suspect Mr Haglof is out of his depth.

Wonderful coverage as always. We won't able to see the qualifying session which is currently ongoing until just before race 1 on Sunday and race 3 won't be broadcast until midnight, 8 hours after it happens. Plenty of repeats of other sports on all day though.

these hughe xchanges in BoP are totally stupid. How can a car which was fastest in one race now drive around P20?

Race 1: Safety car start. There is NEVER a valid reason for starting a race in this way. By doing so, you're basically sending cars around the track in conditions which have already deemed to be unsafe for racing. What's the point? Not to mention that there wasn't a hazard anyway, there was barely a hint of spray behind any of the cars.
That stoppage in race 2 was bizarre. I've never heard of positions being decided at the end of a sector in road course racing before, that's something I thought only happened on ovals. They should have just gone for a complete restart. I went to watch race 3 about half an hour after the live stream finished on motorsport.tv, so you'd think it'd start at the beginning. Nope. It went straight to the closing montage, which was all about Michelisz... Good race though. |

Eurosport in Australia often gets the start times wrong but by recording the three "live" races and the three replays on Monday I managed to cobble together all three races.
Certainly an interesting conclusion to a series that featured some exciting racing and some fairly dull racing. |

The final race was one of the best WTCR races I've seen, and that doesn't really say a lot.
As per above, the track lends itself to drivers having a proper go, and the changing conditions certainly spiced things up. How to do that week in, week out should be something to strive for. |
