Two dramatic races! But my word, Ricardo Teixeira is a lucky boy...he was some 20 feet up in the air flying way above 3 cars in race 2, thankfully he walked away.

How the hell is Teixeira still allowed to race? He is one of the worst pro race drivers of the last decade...

Alex K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
He should have moved beforeseason got under way. What's a point in him staying in single-seaters? With Sonangol money he'd be better elsewhere, probably in GTs, with pro co-driver can see him being future point scorer in GT1 or smt like that.

The organisation of the event was not the best to say the least. Spoke to driver who took part in it and the driver isn't happy not only with bumpy layout but lack of organisation and poor quality of race management.

After todays little mishap in race 2, I hate to say I told you all, but....

I think everyone watching feared too, strange looking accident. I can't believe how much air he got, his wings briefly started working mid-air like a light aircraft which made him pirouette before they stalled and he came crashing down what must have been some 500/600 metres away from where it all started. He actually overtook 5 cars whilst in the air from taking off to where he landed from what I could see. The onboard from Paul Rees is unbelievable!

He raced for Carlin & Ultimate in BF3, didn't manage to get a point! F2 has gathered the "odd" cases in European single-seaters + some forgotten heroes from far, far away These really make for bad image, otherwise Stoneman & Eng look like very good drivers.

there's a joke here to make about that being the most cars he's managed to overtake in a single race but i can't seem to think what it is...

I gotta agree. I have been quite negative about the quality of some of the drivers in F2 but Eng and Stoneman do look a cut above the rest here. Big thumbs up to Stoneman who has done really well in a new car this year and looked very impressive.

I'm a bit surprised by the lack of pace of Benjamin Bailly, he was crushing Arthur Pic in Formul'Academy last year, and now Pic is very strong in Eurocup 2.0

but then again, the jump from Formul'Academy to F2 is quite large

Sureshwaren, Kumar and Teixeira all raced in British F3 before they got to F2. And Teixeira and Kralev raced in GP2(!) last year, I can't see it as anything other than negative for those series either, at the time.

Crikey, that series has had a lucky weekend....

Texeira came from nowhere and was absolutely (literally) flying through the air, must have been launched coming into the braking zone for that slowcane?

It was more like a deliberately arranged crash on a computer game!!!!!

F3L has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Just back from a great weekend in Marrakech. I see the usual negatives are being put onto the site however the F2 mechanics were amazing with a large number of cars to sort out after race one before qually for race two. The guys up front are obviously Eng & Stoneman however Palmer was very quick and committed. Bratt seems to be closing as well as he dials out GP2 car driving techniques. I see these four plus Jokinen being at the sharp end and they are a good advert for the series. The circuit was narrow, bumpy and required full commitment as any street circuit does. Other drivers that look fast are Vaslilauskas,Demarco and Clarke if his car holds together. Todt seemed to be enjoying the racing and the overall atmosphere was excellent.

While Stoneman has excelled, of the other rookies I see Jokinen being very quick albeit a little erratic and Bratt now in a position to deliver two more podiums in Monza where I expect more good racing unlike Silverstone.

Fastest laps in race two : Stoneman at 1.31.312 followed by Palmer at 0.007 behind and Bratt a further 0.003 behind him.

well, thanks to me sky + the race someone forgot about starting at the back after stalling on the dummy grid (pen), a safety car (and unlike the last race pretty fast clearing the one car) and unlike F1 we are just waiting on any jumping the chicane pens

Palmer won from Stoneman and Vasiliauskas. Pretty exciting race, with Stoneman piling on the pressure in the final laps and plenting of passing down the field. Some pretty shocking driving standards down the field though, including Marinescu and Clarke colliding on the main straight.

It was Jokinen who stalled from 2nd on the formation lap but pulled into his place on the grid anyway, with a drive-through ensuing.

I suppose we shouldn't be suprized by Palmer dominating at a power circuit like Monza, even he can drive in a straight line

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that Kralev scored a point by overtaking Eng on the last lap. It just goes to show how poor the field is really.

well Eng made an error, his car was underpowered and a lot of cars didn't finish
