Also another thing about Team RAC, hasnt Andy Neate got his racing licence back now after his big accident? he was meant to race for RAC last year wasnt he? I'd like to see him in BTCC.

BTCC Net has just posted a news story about Autosport show, where it says that Turkington's BMW from 2009 will be on display STILL in RAC livery. The way the article reads suggests that his 2010 won't be with RAC branding.

Please not a yellow Aviva car, they looked horrible the other year when they ran as Aviva in WTCC and Yellow + BMW = very rubbish looking car.

I'd disagree. I think it would be a fresh look and would make a change from the Ornage RAC we've seen from the past couple of years. Besides, Yellow is my favourite colour! :P

Seems so - http://btcc.net/html/generalnews_detail.php?id=1790 - but.. WTF? Looks like a version of the 'YourRaceCar' scheme used in Ginettas last year.
Is this the big WSR reveal? |

If Jelley is doing that, then I guess Turks has a sponsor that Jelley doesn't if they have space to cover Jelley's car in messages?
I presume the WSR show car is still in orange as it'll be done up to match whatever scheme Colin has on his car after Autosport next week and they don't want to give it away before then. Last edited by Jon411; 8 Jan 2010 at 20:26. |

the TeamRAC website has gone, it now takes you through to a sponsorship opportunities page on the RAC website.

Warning ! Rant start : Jelley's family are very wealthy... if you've money to spare as a race fan, I would suggest it would be better to give it to charity than to underwrite Jelley's racing. Rant over !

Well he certainly picked his game up last year once Ried came back, thats how he should be driving all the time. It was good to see him finally get some good results in during the last part of last season.

I like Stephen, he's really proved himself in my eyes. It's just such a shame most the other guys had to bash him up quite a bit in the alst two years. many times has he been in a good position only for somebody to tip him off.

I like him very much too. I think he's been a great addition to the series and I hope he continues. Its just that a scheme like this, organized by somebody as well heeled as he is, doesn't sit well with me.

Wow, big suprise! Nice to see a new type of car in the series, if I'm honest a tad disappointed it's not a Scirocco, but it's all welcome. I wish them the best of luck!

I guess they may well go for the Swindon lump. On the subject of the TOCA Engine, are you allowed to stick it in a BTC-T car?
