There is a significant difference between an original, unrestored car, and one where the shell is the only old piece of the puzzle, as the rest is updated with whatever is available
The price for either may be different too, depending what the prospective owner is looking for. A number of people I know, have worked with, or worked for have been in the market for various reminders of their youth. Some have the passion for a complete turnkey, rebuilt but not necessarily period correct, while others want to modernise an old theme. Not sure how knowing this from first hand experience actually disqualifies me from having an opinion about the relative merits of one method versus t'other, I guess only you can answer that |
