well, I heard somewhere that it would be the return of a "fan favourite"...

I think it's a little funny to call it a fan favorite simply because how many brands or teams have been fan hated?

Christian Mogami has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
First manufacturer announcement is Thursday at 12:30pm local time at LM.

At the moment one on (Lotus)Saturday and another(still secret) on Friday or Saturday.

So is all the rumors coming true this week or just a few???????

G56 announcements have been on different day every year

Announcement for Deltathing: Thursday of race week
Announcement for Green GT: Saturday prior Test day (although sort of announced earlier)
Announcement for ZEOD: Friday of race week

But I still expect the Thursday release to be for it, it's the annual ACO press conference and perfect timing to get it out of the way. Certainly more sensible than the Saturday announcement (whatever that is)

Btw, looking back at the Green GT press releases, it's hilarious to read how out of reality they really were: initial testing in July, first public run at the 2012 Silverstone 6 Hours ACO weren't that much smarter either when they said they expected them to show up in some of the 2013 WEC events after the entry had finally been pulled from LM...

^ Highly unlikely anything substantial because
a) it seems Dolly Z Llama related (old RLM inside joke that some people find funny I guess)
b) ACO already confirmed 55 cars for LM

F1 news- Adrian Newey signed a new contract with Red Bull, but will step back from day-to-day involvement with F1 to take up an 'advisory' role, and work on other projects- More details to be announced later in the summer

It couldn't be an LMP, could it.....?

Yes, sadly that was the impression I got as well. Wasn't there a rumour a while back he wanted to have a go at designing an Americas Cup yacht or something like that?
