Supercars statements on the matter have seemed to tread the line of “we want you ti get vaccinated but we don’t want to say you have to get vaccinated” |

Is there a confirmed link between vaccination exemptions in Australian Motorsport and a footballer in Europe taken to hospital for cardiac reasons?

Forgive my ignorance but as a follower from the UK having just caught up with last weekend's races, why are there so few spectators at the circuit?

In this particular case you can add 4 weekends in a row of the same series at the same circuit with the final weekend having a far superior format and support program to the first 3. The Covid crowd restriction of 10,000 was irrelevant.I was there all 3 days and like I posted earlier I counted a total of around 60 people in the 4000 capacity grandstand just before the first Sunday Supercar race.Guaranteed the crowds will be even smaller the next 2 weekends. |

While four race meetings on consecutive weekends might have an impact, do we see the same impact when speedways such as PCR run such a busy schedule?
During the Bunnings Time Machine segment which featured Lowndes' first race win in 1996 there was no shortage of spectators in the grandstand or anywhere else for that matter. |

Sydney siders will confirm the fact that EC/Sydney Motor Park has always had low volumes of spectators for some reason. I have spent a lot of time in the pits and on the roof during races and looked at that empty grandstand wondering why it is so empty. The sad fact is that car clubs which underpinned interest in racing are largely a thing of the past due to lack of interest.

Week 2 there are 2 night races, week 3 there are no night races and week 4 back to 1 night race. Regarding the person comparing consecutive speedway weekends to consecutive weekends of Supercars speedway doesn’t charge $100 + grandstand + parking for a weekends racing. The other comparison to the 1996 crowd just validates my point about the general decline of car culture causing young people to be far less likely to have any interest in motor racing and a very retro themed formula-Holden v Ford V8’s-even more likely to feel this pain.Question-is motor racing becoming the new lawn bowls? I think you’ve looked at the wrong weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday have a Supercar race starting around 7.30.It is the following weekend when all races run in daylight.

Adcafe reporting KGR are awaiting advice from NSW Health and that David Reynolds has left the Sydney region.
Now I am going to speculate here but 2 practitioners were caught handing out dodgy exemptions in Victoria last week. I will presume they have left documentation behind. Not sure about contract duration but you would think this is a cut it up scenario. The risk to the whole circus is great. If Caruso gets the call and does alright maybe he will have a drive next year, but what are they going to do about Bathurst? Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk |

No doubt Grove Racing will be inundated with resumes and phone calls from budding vaccinated drivers as we speak!

This is brewing as maybe the biggest drama in Supercars for quite a while. Submitting a fraudulently gained document to enter a workplace under false pretences....
He has always had his fringe views and many ask "where is the harm", well if he infected someone and the whole circus was shut down, or worse, someone died. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk |

Isn't that why YOU are vaxxed though? A product so good that 100% of people have to be forced to take it for it to work. Interesting..... |

So what are you going to do about the unvaxxed people (with genuine medical cert) walking around amongst the vaccinated?
