Fantasic 1:30 from Piquet - surely he's gonna get that pole.
Jos is well up their as well - a 1:31 & 1:33. Maybe a top three? Robbie just needs to get a clean lap in - no traffic, no locking up. |

Piquet is certainly giving his supporters some stress with that spin in session 1. Still, fastest individual lap time in session 2 gives hope... Great display of confidence under pressure.

I'd like to see 2 sets of data on screen, if technical situation allows ... I'd like to see a list of the aggregate times on the left, and a list of current laps on the right. There's still a bit of work to do on the presentation (or availability) of the data, I think. If you were hard of hearing (which, at my age, I am) you'd find it difficult to tell what's going on just by looking at the aggregate time on the left, which would ideally be in list format.

Don't complain! At least we have timings (unlike the qualifying during the last two rounds). Coverage is improving every round. |

Yes it is, Luca
I do like the qualifying format too ... builds good excitement, and is pretty quick-fire stuff. Swiss on pole ... 2 fast laps from Jani. Brazil's Q2 lap is still the quickest, but they're P2 now, France P3 |

F1's spending all it's time looking for a good qualifying format, and it's under their noses...

I hope the one race is wet and the other one is dry... Just think of a running start with water spray...
Hey! The more crashes there are the better the chance for RSA to score something... |

(Saying that, the forecast said 100% rain during qualifying and it stayed dry right up 'till the end... so who knows?!) TV coverage was fantastic today. Still don't like the studio stuff though... It'd be far better if they stayed with Ben & John on the world feed thorughout. |

Why do the Malaysian and Indian cars have black rings on their noses? Is it something to do with the awful earthquake that has happened recently? If so why doesn't the Pakistan car have it?
