Hi folks,
Just to update you, I've had the quote back from stand21 and as expected it's significantly more expensive. Prices for these badges would be GBP£14.50 or thereabouts. That's with us absorbing the set up charges.
To be honest, unless I had 20 or so people willing to buy them, I don't think we'll be able to provide this service initially. Possibly later on down the line.

Let me know what you think about the pricing - it's actually very reasonable for what you're getting, but it's still very high compared to a non-fire retardant.

johnw should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
If we are going to put them on racesuits, then they have to be nomex or whatever to stay legal, so I'm still in for a couple.
Maybe Stand21 could provide us with a nomex sewing kit included in the price?

Ok folks, we've now done a deal which should work nicely for everyone. The badges will be GBP£3.50 including VAT with a price of £1 P&P. The initial bulk purchase deal will be 10 patches for GBP£30.00 with free UK shipping.

The company that is doing this for us will also be able to provide sales in Euro and US$ based on the current exchange rate at time of order. Prices for international shipping will be quoted at time of purchase.

It's going to take them a little bit of time to get the store set up, so we expect to have things ready to go in approximately 4 weeks! We'll post to this thread as soon as the store is open and there will also be a link on the menu bar.

If the badges prove popular, we will then look into the possibilities for other embroidered merchandise.

For those of you that have PM'd me with orders, you don't need to order from me now, you'll be able to order directly from the site as soon as it is available.

We are still looking into the possibilities of the FIA approved badges for drivers. I suspect that's going to take more time to organise, so we probably won't have that option available at the time we go live. Sorry guys. We'll keep working on it!

A great big thank you to Glyn Goodwin for setting all of this up.

Once again, thanks to everyone for their support of 10ths. It's much appreciated. Look forward to seeing you all with your new badges!
