DBE Racing joins the 2006 Ten Tenths Fantasy Championship
DBE Racing joins the 2006 Ten Tenths Fantasy Championship
New to the 2006 Ten Tenths Fantasy Championship will be fledgling V8 operation Drowning Businessman Enterprises Racing. With a technical partnership with Minty Motorsport forthcoming, DBE Racing hopes to mix it with the top teams in the 2006 series, with two new BF model Ford Falcons. Assisting the outfit’s cause will be a myriad of sponsors and two highly skilled drivers. 2005 V8 Supercar Champion and dual Bathurst winner, Russell Ingall, has been contracted to pilot the team’s lead Falcon, with stalwart 1995 champion John Bowe piloting the second DBE Falcon. With the mix of natural talent from Ingall and unmatched experience from Bowe the combination is one that demands a sterling, yearlong performance. Joining DBE Racing as major sponsor is Red Bull energy drinks – a brand synonymous with motorsports around the globe. Red Bull’s classic blue red and glod colours will feature as the main warpaint of each car, with Red Bull signage featuring predominantly on the two DBR Falcons. To be known as Red Bull DBE Racing throughout the championship, the squad has also been joined by a series of minor sponsors. TRU Energy, a power-company made famous by its “We’re excited about gas and electricity” advertisements will join the team as Silver sponsor, and will have company signage featuring on the rear of Russell Ingall’s Falcon, and on the front of John Bowe’s. Shell Helix Motor Oils, a partner of Red Bull’s WRC team, will also support the team as an official supplier, with BOC Gases and Clarion joining RB DBE as minor partners. Ingall will drive the team’s lead #5 Falcon whilst Bowe will grid up for DBR with the #55 BF Ford. Red Bull DBE will hit the track for the first time at the upcoming Clipsal 500 Adelaide. NAME: Red Bull DBE Racing SPONSOR(S): Red Bull, TRU Energy, Shell Helix, Clarion, BOC Gases, Minty Motorsport DRIVERS: #5 Russell Ingall #55 John Bowe MANUFACTURER: Ford Russell Ingall's #5 Red Bull DBE Racing Falcon John Bowe's #55 Red Bull DBE Racing Falcon |

Surely they've got deep enough pockets to 'sponsor' two fictitious teams anyway

After a dissapointing rookie season in 2005, the team at Brake Late and Turn Racing are back and bigger than ever for the fast approaching 2006 Series. "We are planning on not settling for anything less than 1st place this year, we tried a few different things last year and learned a few things that we are hoping will lift us to the top of the podium by the end of this year's championship" As part of the major shake-up at BLAT Racing over the off season, 2006 sees the arrival of an all new driver line-up as well as an all new roster of sponsors, all of who are aimed at the very top for this season. BLAT Racing is therefore happy to welcome major sponsors Cadbury and Intel to the team for the 2006 season and we look forward to a very successful beginning with both companies. After much dissapoinment in the driving abilities of those employed last year, all the teams driver's have been given the a... I mean shown the door. We are proud to announce this years team will be led by 4 times bathurst champion Greg Murphy in the No. 51 car. Along side him will be the rookie duo of Andrew Jones and Mark "Frosty" Winterbottom in the 50 and 52 cars respectively. Also revealed today was the teams new war paint for the coming season. NAME: BLAT Racing SPONSOR(S): Cadbury/Intel/Holden DRIVERS: #50 Andrew Jones #51 Greg Murphy #52 Mark Winterbottom MANUFACTURER: Holden |

Hey 433, looking good as mate. And they say it is hard being green? Anyway, I am horrible at 3D work, so if anyone can do my Commies and transporter in 3D, I would apreciate that very much.
Cheers. |

NEW COMER TO V8SUPERCAR FANTASY CHAMPIONSHIP AIMS TO GIVE SOME STIFF COMPETITION
Up The Nose Racing held it's team launch in Sydney today, with Team Principal Ugly Dave Grey pulling the wraps off what he hopes will be Championship contenders. "Even though we're new to this game, we as a team are committed to doing the best we can this year. With drivers of the calibre of 3 time Championship winner Craig Lowndes and young-gun Mark Winterbottom, why wouldn't i be confident?" stated Ugly Dave. Craig Lowndes shares his enthusiasm. "I thought I was going to be with Triple 8 for the next few years, but after Roland traded me & a whole heap of equipment including two brand new BFs with Up the Nose Racing in exchange for a substantial amount of their product, I feel I can take out the title with familar surroundings. Although I may not need their product yet, it's good to know that I can start stockpiling the stuff from now. Mum & Dad love it too!". The V8 season proper kicks off on 26th March at the CLIPSAL 500 in Adelaide. NAME: Up the Nose Racing SPONSOR(S): Nasal Spray Technology, Prozac, In-Time Imports, Johnson & Johnson DRIVERS: # 15 Craig Lowndes # 69 Mark Winterbottom MANUFACTURER: Ford |

After it was converted there were some irregularities in the model (which I assume where cause by the conversion) I cleaned those up, and then set about translating the livery I had already done onto the black template that Antrodemus also posted. Easily the most time consuming part is getting all the pieces of the livery to lineup just how you want them. Then I just played around with the transparency of the windows, and added some reflections to the cars and the floor and rendered it out. And for those with a keen eye, I also modified the 3d model a bit too.... |

Hey HRT, I was wondering what program you used to get it, still using Jasc? Because that is so life like it is a bit scary.
