German F3: two teams (JB and HS Technik) are switching to Lola... Can anybody understand why?

Any other news about drivers for both championships?

Hulkenberg will race Recaro Cup for Kauffmann Racing. Is it the end of the Euroseries as we know it? Even the F-BMW German champion can not make it to Euroseries budgets...

Yes, I think they have plans to compete in the Recaro Cup in 2006.

I haven't heard anything about who might be driving for them, but I guess that any of the drivers that were with them in F. Renault in 2005 are a possibility:

Renger van der Zande (Dutch F. Renault Champion)
Recardo Bruins
Dominic Muermans

Actually, I do know that they have tested all three of them with a F3 car but they have also tested others, including a Greek driver. Problem is that they have kept quiet for the last month or so.

What's the budget for Spanish class B, is it same engine for all in this category?

Team Rosberg is making a comeback to Recaro Cup either. Regarding to Spanish F3 class B, AFAIK the budget is around EURO 200K.

B Class in Spain goes for about 200,00 euros, all testing and other costs included. Yes, the engine and tires are the same. Only the chassis changes.

Agreed, possibly cheaper but you get what you pay for in motorsport, unless there is legitimate sponsorship.

Last years rules said b class had a 10kg weight advantage, but i dont have this years rules yet

Does that mean we can both race there and have finally an advantage because of our weight

Seriously now, having the extra 10kg was because during the pre-season, the B class car was actually quicker than the A class. So by adding the extra weight, things reversed. But even so, Marcos Martinez had managed to come in second overall in a B class at one race this year. Amazing driver...well prepared car...who knows.

possibly the entire field going off at the first corner, but I dont want to knock him because it was a good effort. I deffinately believe that the right driver could win races outright in a b class car like in the UK in 2002

Target Racing is leaving the Italian F3 championship for the Recaro Cup. Lokks like Recaro will have quite a healthy grid this year

Also Schuler, who bought all F3 stuff from Kolles, will run in the Recaro Cup.
