Because this year Peugeot didn't chose the line-up before after january But they were late in the developpment of the car unlike now so it can explain the decision... |

Lamy/Sarrazin/Wurz
not a bad line-up .. not sure Wurz will have the ultimate pace that Bourdais had .. but he's fast and has LeMans experience |

No chance at all it seems, because WRC Turkey round would fall the same date as the 24H of Le Mans next year So the 6th driver can again be speculated by us before Peugeot announces the official line-up in january By the way, about Alexander Wurz, I've read recently that it was Marc Gené who adviced Serge Saulnier to take the Austrian with !! |

As far as I can remember, Wurz is rather tall. How will that fit in with Lamy and Sarrazin?
Definitely a good solid driver though. |

What about a UK driver, someone like Peter Dumbreck or Darren Turner.

I hope it will be FĂ*siko, but as far as i know from recent Wurz words about missing the Lemans race, its just obvious he will be there anyway.

www.Sportmotores.es reports Peugeot will announce the 2008 squad in late January. So we can play to guess the drivers during more weeks.

Seriously, that's what makes the 908 miss the great row of beautifull closed cockpit sportscars(956/62,XJR's,Bentley EXP,Toyota GT-One,etc.)'cause the roof is just too high. I know it's the regs that have to make it at least as high as the rear wing but still... |

how much slower was he than rosberg??? He couldn't handle it this year, and he won't handle a pug neither, imo. remember, jacques is off the other drivers' pace. |

You have a horrible and very blunt disrespect for some people and drivers that puts a really nasty taste into any forum thread, and makes for cringe-worthy unpleasant reading. Wurz is at an ideal age to go into sportscar racing. The extra razor sharp reflexes required for F1 will be beginning to fade compared to a young hotshoe like Rosberg, hence him being beaten in the championship by him. But the fact that he's still valued and is still a damn fine driver means he could be very useful for an outfit like Peugeot, particularly with his notoriously technical mind. I'll happily be proven wrong if Wurz turns out to be a flop, but right now I think it's a great decision from Peugeot to sign him, and can see him to be a welcome addition to the sportscar ranks. |
