Isn't ALMS website going to stream the race flag to flag?

Great, looks like I get to miss watching the race live again, then avoid all of these sites until the website uploads it and I can find time to watch it.
I think it stings this year even more than last year. |

Is there any HD-Livestream available? It would be nice to have a list of TV / Internet channels where the 12 hours are broadcasted live. For people in Europe, I only found this so far: MotorsTV LIVE: 15:30 CET - 17:30 : START of the race (live) 20:00 - 4:00 : uninterrupted live action until finish But as MotorsTV does not get broadcasted in HD, I'm looking for an HD source... any web site on the internet? |

So just like Audi, Aston Martin will be using a 2013-spec car for the #97 and a 2012-spec car for the #007. (I presume the 2nd car in WEC will be 2013-spec) |

Both Rebellion Lolas have done a 1:48 flat. That is faster than their qualifying time from 2012 (1:48.630 and 1:48.956) and their best race lap from 2012 (1:49.477 and 1:49.946).

The big unknown for the moment is how good the 2013 upgrades are for the various cars. The Rebellion Lolas certainly are faster, two seconds a lap quicker than what they qualified at last year. Muscle Milk is already faster than what they qualified at as well. And it's only Monday. If the 2013 upgrades to the Lola and HPD are enough to get them even with or ahead of the 2012 spec Audi, then things get a lot more interesting. And that's even more true if the 2013 Audi has an sort of developmental issues. |

DHH said the Continental PC tire so far seems an improvement over the old Michelins. I guess nobody told him that the forum experts said they couldn't make a capable tire.

It certainly is unexpected, though the Michelin tires were quite a hard compound to begin with.

Interesting to note from the first test session this morning the AJR Ferrari was slightly faster than the Risi car. I didn't expect that even in the test. |

Also worth noting is that the best qualifying time last year in GTC was 2:06.674. In the first practice this year, seven of the nine GTC cars that went out were faster than that, with the Alex Job Racing car quickest of all this morning at 2:05.297.

Something which seems really weird is that the driver of each car isn't shown on T&S. I hope they fix that for raceday this Sunday!
