TBQH this is all sounding more interesting than Chumley......doubt I'll make any money there either, so may as well come to Stoke Row and have fun. Put me down for the duathlon Iain (As long as I can use Zef's scooter for the running bit!)

Yep ,its just for fun Max. You and Mrs Max or Master Max can team up. The show is certainly becoming an event now with a lot of interest .I think we are at the point where we need to decide to grow, or just keep to a small village fete theme. What I am going to go ahead with is the classic car parade to drive through where all the racing cars will be on display. We had some stunning cars last year and I want the racer's and public to be informed about some history and ownership. This leads me on to a question does anyone know or have some kind of PA system we could hire, borrow.

Committee meeting last night and just to let some of our F1 friends know that it turns out there is more then one F1 contact in the village. I have been offered the chance of an Cosworth F1 engine for display and a lot of other F1 goodies for the Auction.

Oh no, didn't know you had an International standard field Iain! I've only got National A licence, will it be enough
BTW ironic isn't it that I need an ECG to drive a car for 20 minutes, but I can give myself a heart attack running without any checks at all Hope it goes better than circuit training did this week, it was damned nearly my first DNF. And the beer was off in the bar afterwards too, very poor evening all round. |

Just cycled home from dropping truck off for annual test. If it is freezing cold in July and you get sea fogs in Stoke Row then I'm ready

You mean you don't have a cyclo-cross frame as well? Tut tut Fear even 3 mile run may be too much for me as recent foot problem has come back to haunt. More important to make sure it is sorted for 6hrs..... |

Thanks Richard.Mate I have a nightmare easter weekend with cars at Snett,Silverstone Zandvoort and Cadwell.March is ready on the button too race but I just cant commit sorry. I have just thought, if some people do not want to run in the duelathlon then you can do two laps of the circuit on your bike.WDYT
