I will be supporting James Walker and Stephen Jelley as I always do. I hope Walker calms down his erratic side for the Masters, he could get a good result this year.

Great minds think alike (or not as the case may be?!).

I will always back (no money changes hands mind!) ok, make that follow a driver based on natural ability over nationality, but if a bloody good driver happens to be from these shores all the better.

On that note, Conway and Di Resta, with Clarke as outsideer must be UK's best hopes in Holland?

I've been keeping an eye on Zandvoort today via the race cam. You have to click on RaceCam II. There is no F3 action today but other cars are splashing around in testing. Yes, that's right, it's raining!

drivers who happen to be born in the same country as myself are blessed with plenty of people around them telling them the sun shines out of their behind without the need for someone to do so on the grounds of nationality. i find the championing of drivers just because they're english regardless of whether they are actually any good or not a bit... unfortunate.

however. i'm pleased to see the english weather has made its way to zandvoort and hope it gets it all over and done with by the time the circus arrives and pitches up their tents

since i'm too lazy to look for myself, is there a recent timetable online?

Timetable is over here.

I'm not going, so I don't mind a little rain (we had a big shower over here this afternoon, it's on and of raining all week), would give an interesting race. Buurman was good in the rain last week, so the Dutch would certainly have a chance (they also have on a dry track ).

I don't mind too much unless they take it to extremes, but I suspect you're like me in that you look at motor racing on an international basis. We all have drivers whom we like or dislike, but their nationality doesn't come into it either way. Although, come to think of it, there's a lot to be said for a good Brazilian, same as in footie...

Qualifying's done and and dusted.

I *think* it's Giedo van der Garde on pole from Paul di Resta, but it's too complicated to work out the rest.

Di Resta leads from Buemi and van der Garde.

Senna and Jarvis 7th and 8th. Conway was right with them, but threw it into the kitty litter.

Van der Garde is past Buemi and pressing di Resta. Will it be a local win for the Dutch?

Great live streaming, btw.
