Thats more than a bit harsh on Clivio, at Combe testing last Saturday he was quickest B and some way ahead of quite a few A's. We are too quick to knock drivers because dad has money. Who had one of the richest, Ayrton of course - does anyone think he was a no hoper spoilt little rich kid who couldn't drive. Dad's wealth creates the oppotunity but the driver gets the results.

I think I would have to agree with you TVR, Wez probably wasn't as quick as Van Der Merwe but even I'm not sure about Piccione.

I'm not jealous and I haven't got a grudge and I'm not an aspiring F3 hotshoe either.
I've just made some comments based on what my eyes have told me.
I don't know Clivio Piccione personally but I do think:

Big buck class A budget teams/entrants should not be encouraged into class B as this obviates the whole point of class B.

Piccione has one season of Zetecs behind him and did nothing to stand out from the crowd at all.

And back to Westley, it would be interesting to see him up against the field in FR this season. Many drivers deemed title challengers are not doing the things expected of them so far.
I think its a shame that there isn't the same level of competition in Ford as there has bee in the past few years. It used to be very exciting (although I'm sure the Barber camp would disagree). I don't think you can compare Barber's (and his teammates) efforts from last year as they clearly weren't as competitive as they should have been in the Haywood Mygale.
Anyway good luck to Westley and I hope something good comes out of it.

i dont understand, isnt piccione second in the scholarship? behind caroll, who drove some f3 races yast year and has won ff... to me that sounds quite good... why is it that you think he is so bad?
