The #4 car looks great, but the #9 car is a mess.

They should have placed the base green (or is it green/blue?) where they placed the silver. And then place black (or maybe silver) in the same locations they have placed black on the #4 car.

That seems a bit obvious as it would mirror the design on the #4 car, so maybe there is a reason they did not do it that way.

Is there a graphic artist who could render that change here?

Hmm I don't know. Not a horrible design but to me the lines of the design seem more suited to the AU than a BF.

Is that just me?

The front of the JELD-WEN car remind me of the Milligans Winterbottom '03 AU, in terms of its style, to exentuate the AU's bullet-like nose. The BA/BF is a far more bulky, wider and staunch front and needs more a block like approach to its front as opposed to the swooshy-ness that we see on the SBR cars. Too much like an AU paint-scheme.

Did that make sense to anyone else?

If you change the silver to white on car 9 it looks a lot better. The problem with the caltex green is that it is a dull colour and with the red and the silver there isnt really a standout colour on the car, so it looks a little bland.
I like the design of the car, just not the colours they have chosen.

Just someone PLEASE tell SBR that those green wheels on Ingall's car are HIDEOUS. Much better if they were Silver.

Change the wheels to silver
Spot on Matt! I have roughly changed the color of the wheels to silver using a photo editor , and it has completely transformed the look of the car .

It looks fantastic with silver wheels!
