How many cars are expected to enter this year? I saw Euroboss at Brands a few years back and the entry was quite small (it was still well worth watching though - some great cars out there )

Is there an entry list for this season yet? Its fantastic that these amazing cars are kept running i think with a little more advertising (For the public about the race at Brands) it could be packed, will try to get out to Zandvoort |

In the last years (particularly the last three years) the main problem was (like many other series) the money situation. We looking forward for a better year...but no entry list at this time for publishing (yes, there are new drivers and cars on it)! Hope that we have for the only UK Race at Brands Hatch a strong 20 car grid. Please wait and give us still a little bit time. Fingers crossed! @halfmast Who is running the championship now: all the years, Roger Cowman (no change, see our website "contacts")! Have the regs changed from last year: No! "EuroBOSS Class: F1 type cars must have been built before December 31st 2001. EuroBOSS Masters: F1 & Indy cars built before December 31st 1989 & F3000/FNippon cars of any age. In EuroBOSS Masters only, engine must be of original type and capacity. Minimum weight as per original." Are any teams doing hire drives: for example, Klaas Zwart - Team Ascari (various Ascari Benetton from 1996 and 1997) Christian EuroBOSS Racing |

The EuroBOSS race at Spa-Francorchamps, April 15th/16th is cancelled, because of the high race entry fee (after cancellation of the Belgium GP) for non-Belgium race series (like EuroBOSS)! We work on other race at Spa later in the year when we will run with a different organiser.
So the first race of the year is now Brands Hatch Indy on April 29th/30th. For this race we have a sponsor! Christian EuroBOSS Racing |

Press-/Testday Spa 01.04.06
On last Saturday was our Test- and Pressday.
11 Big Single Seater Cars makes their first rounds 2006, on a wet an slippery Spa-Francorchamps Circuit. Here you can find many pictures: http://www.endurance-fans.de/index.p...2_itemId=3125& ...and here some short videos: http://www.endurance-fans.de/index.p...d=28&Itemid=26 Our newest press release from Saturday: V10'S TO RUMBLE AT BRANDS! After this weekend's testing, the waiting is over as EuroBOSS's lights turn green and the drivers and teams hail the start of the 2006 EuroBOSS season. The season opener, to be held at Brands Hatch at the end of the month will see a welcome return for the EuroBOSS cars and will provide UK motorsport fans with a unique opportunity to hear the true sound of grand prix racing, a V10 engine! "EuroBOSS, our teams and drivers are pleased to be returning to Brands" commented Race Director and Co-ordinator, Roger Cowman. "We enjoy excellent relationships with the authorities, local promoters and business partners at each of our racing venues and Brands is no exception. We are commiting greater investment to create the best possible racing spectacle and a memorable occasion for everyone. Many of our teams run V10 engines which we believe will attract the UK fans and that the amazing roar of these engines will be the star of the show." The decision to switch from V10 to 2.4 litre V8 engines in Formula One was made at the end of 2004 and means the sound heard by fans on a Sunday afternoon is totally different to that of the V10. The resulting drop in output is roughly a 20 percent reduction causing lap times to climb by an average of one to two seconds. In contrast, EuroBOSS will still roar to the sound of V10 engines this season. Regulations allow cars to be run with an unlimited engine capacity with many teams choosing the Judd 4.0 litre V10. The more powerful engines provide drivers with stronger acceleration and higher G-forces in the corners. Cars competing in EuroBOSS and powered by V10 engines have been responsible for setting 14 of the 17 outright lap records at many of the UK and European circuits. EuroBOSS continues to grow in stature both with drivers and with the vast array of fans across Europe and the 2006 season is no different. The season will welcome a number of new teams and will include eight double-header races throughout mainland Europe where at least 18 cars are expected to line up for another stunning spectacle of fast and exciting racing. A modest entry but there is some quality there although I would be surprised to see Hemmings Jordan appear? I have to wonder why the likes of Worswick, Mortlock, Goddard etc don't come out and support the British round of the championship! Another past competitor with time on his hands now is Paul Stoddart, how about European Aviation taking on Team Ascari surely a mouthwatering encounter? Hope you all have a safe and fun season and I can't wait for Brands.

I may have had some duff info that Jodie Hemmings Jordan had been sold on. It would be great to see it, the car was very quick in it's only appearance at Donington with Gary Ward driving. It will be the best looking car on the grid (and driver)!

He also did an F3000 race with JVA in the 3000 Pro Series last year, taking 6th at Imola. Before this season began he was trying to raise money for an IPS drive by selling advertising space on his car - http://www.milliondollarmansell.com
