Will all car models be updated, with removable panels when viewing?
Edit, seems they will. http://download.xbox.com/content/mgs...en_explode.jpg Last edited by JAG; 16 Jul 2011 at 00:15. |

Love it when they put the real McLaren F1 in games.

Having grids of only 8 cars was THE disappointment in FM3, as it was such an accomplished game otherwise. Hope you can create custom public online lobbies too as that has kept me into F1 2010 all this time.
So much as a like to mock these bi-annual releases, Forza is a particularly good example. Although FM3 lacked a couple of things, it put a ton of polish onto FM2, with features like the cockpit view et al. My big worry is that Kinect will play too big a role, but Turn 10 should be okay with that. |

Quite suprised to see the Z4 GT3 in there what with the FIA GT3 Championship in Shift 2. Very pleased though

Its just the car itself probably, like the R8 LMS in Forza 3, no Schubert livery just a plain car. Wont take five minutes for someone to whip up a snazzy Schubert replica .

I had both variants done up on the road car on FM3, with the paint importer it shouldn't take a few mins to get that sorted

I really hope Sportscar racing is better represented than this when they reveal the complete car list. |

I'd anticipate the 450 GT2 and a couple of other newer cars. I'd be INCREDIBLY suprised if the GT2 'Vette isn't in game either.
The ALMS link up is hardly new news really. Just this is the first time they've said it 'officially'. What it actually means for us sports car fans is, however, at little sketchy. |

As well as ALMS cars there'll be the likes of the 908, R18 etc.
The RSR XKR-R and Robertson Ford GT were added via DLC so T10 have an eye on new cars. Last edited by JAG; 10 Aug 2011 at 16:04. |

I'd rather see real ALMS races integrated into the career than see new cars.

Think he would mean make a series, or even an ALMS season as a later season in the career based on GT or LMP cars that ran close to the ALMS calendar. Shouldn't be too hard to replace a North American series with a GT2 series without the locking to one region. There was a series that used GT1 cars in a world tour, and a couple using GT3ish machinery in national series. Plus they supposedly were adding multiclass racing, not sure if online only. Could be fun for enduros to add some GTs for a challenge racing some LMPs.

Saw the news acouple of days ago. Looks like we'll be basically getting the sames cars as FM3+DLC and one or two new cars on release. I can see though a special ALMS car pack and maybe even a track pack, after all, this is a 2 year deal and they don't want to release all their cars and tracks at once because there will be nothing left for later on. Regarding tracks I think will be included, I think the only current track that I think fits in with the other tracks already in the game and isn't already in the Forza franchise is Mid Ohio. The others just don't feel right for a semi racing sim.

Forza has updated their website so now that it shows a cars and tracks sub menu. It isn't currently working though. Could it be that they're releasing the car and track lists early?

Sorry it was taken down shortly after I posted. It was under the Forza Motorsport 4 banner.
On a side note, there has been a new video release showing the making of the Hockenheimring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMQzXvKVd3c |

Nice, loved turning laps in the MB SLR so the 250 and DBR1 should be sweet too. Course the HUGE cost kept me from using one in any events but still fun on the Amilfi coast

I hated Amalfi Coast. It just looked nothing like a real road

I don't think there was anything wrong with the "realism" of Amalfi Coast, but it was just too short and fiddly, especially when they put Rally di Positano in the game as well.

So true, anything over A class was just not enjoyable, dont even start on trying to race an LMP on there
